After we came from dinner, I replied to Mr. Carter's E-mail. I was home alone, Beth's family was in town so she decided to spend some time with them
My cramps are not very down but they are bearable I guess. I laid in my bed thinking about Jungkook. Am I really ready for this engagement? And do I really want to take jungkook along with me to Prague?
I do like this guy and even though it's fake, I really want to do it but I'm not sure... Sharing a room with him would be too much
But this is a chance I'm getting, I can overcome my fear as well as bond with him again. I texted him
"You can come along to Prague, you'll have to take care of your expense though"
His reply came in a second
"Duh! Obviously, I will. (I was coming even without your confirmation but good that you answered)" I giggled and set my phone down looking at the ceiling

2 DAYS LATER
Y/N POV
I was in my cabin, checking in all the necessary requirements and documents for the trip, just making sure everything was okay.
Beth made a noise I turned around, and she signaled to her left "Problem incoming"
I saw Mr Carter walking towards me and I groaned.
"Ms Y/N" I stood up and smiled in the sweetest way possible "Mr Carter how may I-"
"I hope your preparations are done." I moved aside to show him my desk and laptop, and he nodded.
"Your last project and trip didn't gain much attention, I'm expecting better from you this-" "Excuse me, may I borrow y/n from you?"
I looked behind Mr Carter and my eyes widened, WHAT ON THE WORLD IS HE DOING HERE
"Sorry?" Mr. Carter said looking at the gentleman
"I asked if I can-" "Yeah I heard that" jungkook just smiled. I looked at Beth and saw her with a mischievous smile enjoying the drama.
"And who are you again?" Mr Carter said hooking his hands in his pockets as if giving him a challenge
Jungkook smiled and turned towards him "Her so-called Fiance"
"Now if you don't mind," he said moving to my desk and packing my things
"What are you doing Jeon Jungkook" I whispered yelled
"We have to go select the rings, I know you're excited" I gave Mr. Carter an awkward smile and he replied
"I didn't know you were getting married Ms y/n."
Jungkook walked towards him with my stuff and smiled adorably
"She might have forgotten to tell you, after all we're only inviting close friends. Have a nice day to you too" he said pulling me towards the door
I turned to look at Beth and saw her hyping me up silently behind Mr Carter's back who (I don't know for what goddamn reason) was smirking in defeat for the first time in forever
"JEON FUCKING JUNGKOOK!" I said backing up "I can lose this job!'
"you don't need to worry about that, he knows you're the only one in the company who can work as hard as you, and I'm pretty sure he knows the marketing tactics too"
