It was past 9 when taehyung was done with his work, he wrap up the things and got ready to go home. Everyone were already left, he was only one there he assumed.
He got out of the building and waited for his chauffeur to drive the car. Once the black mercedes pull over infront of him he took the keys from chauffeur signalling him to leave wanting to drive the car himself. He was about to hop on the driving seat but his action halted hearing the voice behind him.
“wait!!” he turn around and raise his his eyebrow watching yn there. “What are you doing here at this time?” he asks the obvious question.
“I was working on the file, it took time to finish it up.” Taehyung hummed. “Next time, take the file home instead of staying here. Sign off on your usual time unless it's necessary.” He muttered in commanding tone and turn to sit in his car.
“Thanks.” He paused and rise his eyebrow in questioning manner. “what's the occasion?” yn sigh at his skeptical look.
“For not making me part of that project, Thankyou for helping me that time, you know what I mean.” yn muttered. he knew what she is talking about.
"Oh! But what made you think I helped you. It's and job as CEO to look after my employees comfort. He was making my employee uncomfortable, so even if it's you, I will still do part of my job as you are my employee now.” he paused before scoffing. “Besides your performance wasn't that great so I had to do that anyways.” he voice out in cocky tone while skillfully hiding that he cared more than he should and did all just for her.
She press her lips thin line, already done him. “oh! Great. Still Thank you for being considered towards your EmPloYEes Mr. Kim.” she said and bow try hard not to make it sarcastic.
He roll his eyes at her actions and said “Why do I find the difference in this and the previous thankyou of yours?”
“Because there is big difference sir. The second was for my BoSs and his consideration, and 1st one was for—”
“For?”
“For you. for helping me as friend, actually that's what I thought.” she mentally slap her self for shuttering.
And for taehyung, he was feeling happy internally, just because she thought of him as frd but again! how can he let her believe her imagination.
He chuckles. “Bold of you to think that we can be friends. We can never be friends Witch.” he snort with mocking laugh making yn narrow her eyes.
“Yeah, Right. Everyone does mistakes just like i did today. See you tomorrow SiRr." she muttered with fake smile and turned to leave getting pissed off by his snarky comments.
He saw her leaving as he got inside the car and drove toward where she was. Once he was infront of her, he pull down the window to talk to her. “get in. I will drop you home.”
