[ABANDONED] The New Titans (A Teen Titans Fanfiction)

The Beginning

Emily POV

I knew I was a cold person, but I didn't think that meant I should be teleported into the school's freezer. It had been happening ever since the beginning of the school year. I was walking out the door of my school when a stranger in a cloak handed me box. I shoved it back at him, not knowing what was inside. When he opened it, I realized that it was the most beautiful bow I had ever seen. I grabbed it, closed the box, and ran home.

Later that night, I ran my fingers over the black painted wood. It had a symbol of a bird and a circle on it. My fingers lingered there for a moment, before moving to the computer to look it up.

I found that the symbol belonged to a group of mercenaries called the Nightingales. They supposedly were killers for hire, and had unnatural magical abilities.

I figured that was why I had started teleporting, but I didn't think it would affect those around me. When my friend, Olivia told me about bursting the schools water pipes, I thought that I had some thing to do with it. The next day a boy named Dick Grayson met me before school and told me to meet him after school with Olivia.

When we got there, we didn't see anyone and had to wait 10 minutes before anyone showed up. Well, we didn't exactly see anyone, because we had been knocked out.
