Chapter 4

Sahari's POV

It was Sunday , I was originally gonna start working tomorrow. I'd just go in and they'd give me a tour and I'll meet my boss and see how things go down in the lab .

I had gotten my hair done early this morning , I had just finished cooking and I was feeding Milani her bottle when I heard my brother's voice.

" Ah who fah house dis ? Mi know seh unnuh nah waste unnuh money pon dem yah nice place and tingz yah" Malik spoke and I chuckled lowly

Once he entered the living room , he ran up to me hugging me I hugged him and he kissed the baby's forehead

" Boy stop squeeze up mi baby" I said pushing him away from the baby ,

" Sahari yuh baby pretty enuh but ah doh yuh she get the looks from" he said while I spotted Jude coming in

I ran and jumped on him , he groaned as he caught me

" Blood- Lawd den supposed mi did weak" I laughed at him and turned around to Malik to answa him now

" Aye Jancro doh bright yuhself wid mi ah mi ah har madda of course she go pretty yuh head dry out like Mikhailia front"

Jude and Dylan laughed while Malik stared at me shocked at how I answered him . Mommy shook her head and went into the kitchen to share food ,

My mother gave me the baby , she started placing the plates down at the dining table .
I rocked Milani to sleep , then placed her in her playpen.

We prayed over the food , and started eating everyone was complimenting me on the food even Malik I expected something sarcastic

We always had fuss with each other , but that's my bro y'know

~An Hour later~
My mom and my brothers left with the baby , I tied my head and ironed my scrubs for the week .

I placed the black scrubs I'd wear on the hanger and put it on the hook beside the closet , I placed my important documents and cards in my bag .

I had already showered and brushed my teeth , I got in bed scrolled through insta abut before praying and falling asleep.

6:45 am

I yawned , thanked God for life and headed to the bathroom

I came out and realized the clock was saying

7:05

I got dressed in my underwear, I wrapped my robe around my body heading towards the kitchen to make breakfast.

I turned the kettle on . I made fry plantains , an egg sandwich and mint tea , I sat down at the island and ate my breakfast.

I quickly washed up the dishes and ran to my room , my phone started ringing

Big bro 🙄❤️ is calling

I answered and he let me know he was on his way . I quickly got dressed in the black scrubs, I wore white socks and shoved my foot into the Yeezy Foamrunners .

I untied my hair and let the braids fall , I redid my edges brushed my teeth again . I lotioned my elbows and sprayed on the Louis Vuitton perfume , I applied some lipgloss picked up my handbag .

My braids were below my butt , I grabbed my phone and dropped my glasses inside my bag .

I hurriedly walked outside locking my doors and entered Dylan's car .

" Good morning" I said taking out a gum , I smiled when I saw my AirPods in my bag .

He drove off , putting up the windows and turning the A/C on .

It's her first day at work guysss!!! I'm kinda excited for her to be in a new environment and everything.
