Chapter 5

Sahari's POV

Dylan left me at the gate , dem muss ah seh ah who dis yah boasty gyal yah

I walked towards the security post and showed my ID , I had already gotten everything they were only waiting on my arrival .

I smiled and greeted her with a good morning , I walked through to see this very pretty girl she was wearing grey scrubs .

Mi hope she nice and willing fi show mi , the head surgeon office

" Good morning , I'm new here could you show me the head doctors office please ?" I asked nervously

" Hi , I'm Sashoi come let me show you" she smiled

She was so pretty , she wore grey crocs and you can tell she's very feisty I like her

Sashoi Blair

" Yuh wear black scrubs mean seh yuh work in ah lab ?" She asked while looking at me

" Yes , but I'm still trying to figure out the scrubs code"

" I work in the X-ray department which is next door to the lab that's why I wear grey , Blue or white scrubs with a coat are the doctors , pink scrubs are the pediatric nurses , white scrubs are regular nurses and regular uniforms are just ordinary staff " she explains as we enter the hallway

I nodded and smiled , it was much different overseas that's why it's kinda difficult to adjust to now

" Thanks I understand now" I said with the little accent coming out

" Yuh sound like yuh did deh ah foreign?" She asks while tilting her head with a small smile

" Yeah I just came back last week , mi not even done unpack mi suitcase dem yet"

" Gurl look how mi ah yuh ah talk wah yuh name?" I forgot to tell her we both started laughing

"Sahari Wright"

" Alright Mi ah yuh go pon lunch same time so Mi will show yuh di restaurant and order or we can drive go" I nodded and she stopped at the door which had written in bold

Dr. R Shaw ( Head Doctor )

I'm now nervous , I looked back at Sashoi as she walked away after she told me bye.

I knocked on the door , and I heard a deep voice answer

That voice sounds really familiar

I opened the door and walked inside , the A/C was on I quickly closed the door and turned around shocked when I saw the person

It was the guy from the supermarket

Yeah the one you were drooling over my subconscious spoke

I mentally rolled my eyes at her before speaking

" Good morning Dr. Shaw , I'm Sahari Wright the new addition to the lab department" I spoke politely but I was so nervous that I played with my acrylics .

" Good morning Ms. Wright , Medical Technologist right ?" He asked looking at me with a small smile

I felt butterflies, I know this is dumb but he's so fine bro......

" Yes sir-
He spoke as soon as I responded to him
" So I'm gonna be showing you the lab and all the different wards , normally I'd ask a fellow medical technologist but I think you'll be fine with me ?"

He stood up and I admired how he looked in scrubs ,

He had on blue scrubs and a white coat with his name and position engraved in, he had a stethoscope around his neck and wore white crocs which were surprisingly clean .

His hair in done in a man bun , he picked up his phone and opened the door for me to walk out his office .

I watched as his muscles flexed in the close fitted top he wore and how neat he looked , I blushed and lowered my head at my thoughts .

~ An hour and forty five minutes later ~

Doctor Shaw had shown me around and I quickly caught own , he walked me to the lab and I entered he saw how nervous I am.

" I know how it felt to be here on your first day but , it's okay you know where my office is have you met anyone as yet ?" I didn't know Bosses gave pep talks especially IN JAMAICA

" Uh... yeah I met Sashoi" as soon as I said her name he nodded and we entered the lab

Every body stopped working and watched us as he closed the door , I stared back at them

" Good morning , this is Ms. Sahari Wright the new medical technologist please help her feel welcome"

I smiled and waved saying good morning , some looked at me with a subtle glare but I couldn't care less I am only here to make money and leave

" Thanks again Doc"

He left the lab and I walked into what seemed like the office , I looked at the roster on the wall seeing my name and what I'm supposed to do today .

I smiled and opened the locker putting in my bag and phone , my Apple Watch flashed the time and I grabbed my coat washed my hands and walked out into the area with the others .
