The house was filled with Christmas music, and the aroma of roasted chicken filled the air; Because turkey is hard to come by in Japan, chicken is the traditional Christmas dinner there.
During the holidays, many families simply eat in or order takeout, but Kenji had other ideas; He made each of the dishes from scratch, much to your stomach's displeasure.
Since you were sick of waiting for him to finish cooking, you were passing the time by getting ready for the day.
"Come on bunny, ugh! Hold still-!" You grunted as you tried to stuff the chubby cat into a red sweater to match your red Christmas sweater dress; you also wore black stockings and white leg warmers over yours.
"Would ya leave the damn cat alone, she can't fit that tiny ass sweater." Kenji appeared out of nowhere.
"Shut up, Bunny can fit it!"
"She's too big for it." He deadpanned
"Kenji, she is pregnant, don't ever comment on a pregnant Woman's weight that is so rude, right bunny?" You held smiled down at the grumpy feline.
'Pregnant? There's no way in hell that I'm taking care of additional kittens— just another person to clean up after— these two are already enough..' Kenji sweatdropped at the thought.
Shifting your attention to Kenji after stuffing the cat into the sweater, you scowled at his attire. "Where the hell is the sweater I brought you, go put it on!"
"Hell no, that shits itchy."
"YOU'RE RUINING EVERYTHING YOU WEARING THAT STUPID, UGLY, HIDEOUS WHITE TEE!" You shouted, pointing a shaky finger at him.
"Isn't ugly, and hideous the same thing?" Being the cool-headed dude he is, he replied.
"ARGH!!! You know exactly what I mean smartass— Go change your top NOW!!!"
"I'm cooking, and it's hot as hell out there, so no, I won't be wear the goddamn swea-"
"COME ON KENJI, OUR CHRISTMAS PICTURES NEED TO COME OUT PERFECT THIS YEAR! YOU CAN TAKE IT OFF AFTER PICTURES!!!"
'Damn, there's finally something she's passionate about.' He pondered, watching the girls tantrum unfold.
"Tch, fine, stop yelling." And with that Kenji exited your bedroom, closing the door behind him.
