The sound of my heels on the tiles
of the eerie hallways echoed in the silence as I walked towards my next assignment.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as I contemplated the
mission ahead.

With only three targets on hand,
the stakes were high, and I knew that one wrong move could put me
and my team in danger.

As I made my way through the halls, Rindou and Ran walked alongside me, their presence a reminder of our previous missions and the bond
that we'd formed as a team.

"Looks like we'll be working together again," Rindou said in a playful tone.

"I guess so," I replied with a hint of reluctance in my voice.
I knew that this mission would be challenging, but I was determined to see it through to the end, no matter what obstacles stood in my way.

'Man....Where's Kakucho?
being around the Haitani's this past week has been irking.'

As you kept a bored expression while approaching the elevators,
The lifts doors opened, revealing
the familiar scar-faced man.

"Speak of the devil! Kakucho,
you're finally back."
You approached him,
placing a hand on your hip.

"So where've you been,
Partner? Thanks to you,
I'm stuck with these two."
You pointed your thumb behind you.

"I was out faxing the imports
out within Shinjuku."
He answered while eyeing his watch.

You knew that Kakucho was a crucial member of your team, as #3 and #4 you two usually worked together.

His absence had left you with more work on your shoulder.
Despite his brief explanation,
you couldn't help but feel a sense of irritation towards him.

"Ya got another mission?"
he inquired, bringing his orbs respectfully up to your eyes only.

"Yup, a few snakes hiding in the grass; some loose ends to tie,"
you casually answered,
and so he nods.

"The shit must get done,"
you said in a matter-of-fact tone,

"However, once this is taken care of, perhaps we could enjoy a drink or two." You said with a suggestive smile.

Upon that you bid farewell to Kakucho and walked towards the lift;
Ran held his hand out to prevent the elevator from closing until you entered.

As the elevator doors closed and you began to descend, you couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for what lay ahead.

You were determined to carry out
this mission with precision, You couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and adrenaline, knowing that another mission awaited you.
