Ringing erupted from my phone, I groggily groan, as I opened one eye to see who it was.
'Beanstalk'
"What's up, Draken?" I groggily answer the phone while mindlessly cuddling with my kitten, who is just lazily laying down.
"What? [Name], we're you just sleeping?"
"What about it?" I grumbled.
"It's 12 pm-anyway, the reason I called is because Mikey wanted to go to the beach today, and we were wondering if you wanted to tag along."
"Count me in!" I chirped.
"We'll be there at 2, be ready." He completes. '2 hours to get ready, sweet!'
"OK, bye." I then hung up.
I didn't get up right away; instead, I lay there mindlessly staring up at the ceiling for what felt like several minutes.
The smoke detector goes off throughout the apartment, making me sit up. "Kenji..." I grumbled, my eyes narrowing.
'I forgot that he's off on Saturday's... we still haven't made up, it's been real silent between us, man I hate being mad at someone for too long... but still he's a asshole, and I don't think I can forgive him right now.'
I suddenly feel something small and warm on my lap, I look down, eye's widening.
'No!!!!' I internally screamed as I lift the kitten up to see fresh pallets off poop on my lap.
"Bunny newspaper now, go!" I lightly push the animal off of me, the kitten was disobedient and began leaping around my bed.
'Great, Now I have to wash my sheets!'
"Thank you for reminding me that I need to shower." I remarked sarcastically while sniffing my shirt.
"Meow!"
"Oh hush, you're getting another bath as well."
'Well, I guess I should get ready now.'
