During the 1960's, the first groups of coronaviruses were discovered. It's been found that these kinds of viruses vary wildly. Some are so harmless like a common cold, and some can kill more than 30% of those infected. Over the course of a few decades, a version of this virus became an outbreak. SARS-CoV spread through South China, Hong Kong all the way up to Toronto and all over the world infecting more than 8000 people and killing almost 800 of them in 2003. Later on, this was traced back to civets and horseshoe bats in Yunnan Province, China.
Jump a few years later again and another version spreads. MERS-CoV is a betacoronavirus derived from bats. This was first identified in 2012 in Saudi Arabia. This too went all over the globe in 2012 / 2013, infecting 1360 people killing 527 of these confirmed cases.
A few months ago, a pneumonia-like outbreak was reported in Wuhan China. This was traced to a novel strain of coronavirus. The new infectious disease called COVID-19 is caused by SARS-CoV-2, a variation of SARS-CoV. This has spread all over the world and though it hasn't reached the levels of fatality of its predecessors, the rate of spread was quicker. Most countries were prepared and took action immediately. Here however, distrust, second guessing and ignorance because of the spread of fake information has caused major losses in lives and the overall freedom of daily living.
In the middle of all the crisis, the government decided to do repairs to the electrical grid as proposed by Alvin Agila.

Alvin Agila gingerly folded his laptop closed. What the people saw as him sitting in his home in Laguna was just a giant green screen. He got up, walked into a small corridor, wore a hazmat suit and came out of a Laboratory in Wuhan.
Dead bodies were everywhere. He stops and looks around.
"Oh. Kunin nyo na lahat. Tapos linisin nyo tong building."
6 mechanized Eagles flew all over the room and burned all the bodies. Some were still alive, some were screaming in pain yelling in Chinese which translated to: "YOU DON'T DESERVE TO HAVE THAT!!"
After the Eagles did their work, the laboratory was spotless. As if no one had ever worked there in the first place.
Alvin Agila boarded his private Jet that had no pilot. "Uwi na tayo. May meeting pa ko with DOH. Time to tell them that our vaccine ..is gone." He called out to the plane all while looking at a vial he took from the laboratory.
Back in the Philippines, news broke out that COVID-19 has started to spread throughout city jails. Eleanor was worried about her Father. An old man in Jail, powerless against a deadly virus was a thought that easily drove her insane. She just wanted her Father out.
