Alvin Agila had just finished filming his new statement video. The Vice president and all of the opposition were placed in an underground base guarded by Agila Drones. On another level, former bus hostage taker Mr. Wolf. Each cell had a monitor. Trapped, they all have no choice but to watch Alvin Agila's rise in power.
Alvin Agila's video went viral within 15 minutes of upload. He shared how he found the president dead and how an hour later, witnessed The Owl himself kidnapping the Vice President. Using video editing and one of his Agila Drones, he made a well edited video of the Vice President being flown away by a large creature with wings.
"We all know na legit na vigilante si Owl. At dahil hindi sha sumusunod sa batas, obvious po na gusto nya pa bagsakin ang ating gubyerno by killing our leaders. Ang aking tatay.." Alvin said while his tears flowed down right on cue.
Meanwhile, Owl headed back to Kate's home. He wanted to apologize; show how much he loved her and how he realized that he wasn't paying attention to the right things this whole time. From far out' his sensors indicate that there's a fire in one of the houses. He landed at a nearby church. Kate's home was in flames.
At Will's home, the Thin Old Man was busy defending his wife, pregnant daughter and her husband from soldiers raiding their home.
"Ma. Dalin mo sila sa attic saglit. I'll meet you guys there in a few minutes. Ako na bahala." the Thin Old man said while he took out the 35 year old Kuwago Suit.
Agila Drones flew in an abandoned warehouse carrying Kate.
"Aaaah, Kate. Tama ba? Na meet kita a few days ago!" Alvin Agila said.
"Put me down asshole!" Kate replied.
"Yeah yeah. Once dumating si Owl. or..Will. Tama ba?" Alvin said while smiling at Kate.
Kate immediately added it all up together. "All those modifications on electricity posts, your very own fiber internet all over the country, you've collected hacked and controlled information to use for your own advantage? Drop the supervillain spiel, idiot." Kate said unimpressed.
Eleanor the Raven hijacked a police motorcycle in the hopes of chasing down the Drone that took her father. However, she sees the Owl gliding in the sky.
"You. Ikaw dahilan nitong lahat!" the Raven yelled. She shot out a net and caught Owl making him fall onto a tree. Bullets immediately flew towards him. The Raven emptied 2 magazines from a Kriss Vector CRB carbine. The Owl, realizing it was his friend, tried to just disable and restrain her. But she was a huntress trained by Mr. Wolf.
Owl felt his age. Too slow, too heavy. Air wasn't getting into his lungs as they did years ago. He was getting tired quickly. He even caught a few bullets, 2 on his left side and one that left a hole through his right leg.
Almost every Filipino was now out for blood. They hated the Owl. They automatically created more made up stories about the Owl. Facebook posts went viral about him being the one spreading the Virus, the killings, every crime directed to take down the current government. People started going out even though there was a quarantine. Wearing masks, gloves and holding homemade weapons and nets, people that night were out to hunt down the only creature that defended and protected them for a few years.
