Alvin Agila is the richest man in the Philippines. A former action star turned senator, he's become the country's national treasure and a national icon. Whatever he says becomes a tagline. Whatever he wears becomes a trend. Whatever he decides is right becomes the right thing for everyone. He's handsome, witty, cool and he starred in movies with Robert Downey Jr.

He truly is a modern "superhero". Sometimes much like RDJ, his characters seem to be alive in current times because he embodies most of his roles. One afternoon, while having a relaxing private golf session with the President, Alvin got an urgent request.

You know I always do my best.
Linisin mo to lahat.
Alvin: Ako bahala.

With the support of the President, and having vast amounts of money at his expense, unlimited power has just been handed down to him.

He goes straight home, and while he and his assistant fly over the poor on a Helicopter, he drafts a law that will immediately execute individuals that have proven to be vigilantes. Right after they land, he drafts another set of plans. Contingency plans for the troublesome vigilantes of Quezon City.

Across the city, Kate and Will are together. But they're barely engaging each other. Kate keeps waiting on Will to turn his attention from his phone, towards her.

"Nawawala ako sa hulog. Di ko ma tandaan yung plate ng motor na bumangga samin. Kelangan ko ma enhance itong CCTV video na ito." Will said while his eyes are stuck on the screen of his phone.

Kate was alright with this whole superhero thing. But the accident turned Will into a bit of an obsessive, fixated on finding out more about the people involved in that car crash. Although it was a bit concerning, she thought that perhaps this may be what Will needed at the moment.

Will's mind was running faster and faster. Too fast, that everything and everyone around him was starting to become a blur. Instead of resting properly between day time work and night time rounds in the city, he stays up more. Working longer hours, being more brutal. There are moments when he's starting to become less stealthy during hunts. Criminals would hear the Owl first and a few would be able to get away.

As Will continuously drained himself too much every night running out as the Owl, he did somehow land a new dayjob. Good pay, good hours. Something to distract him a bit while being paid.

He didn't plan to, but he ended up having a new friend. One was his team leader. A young professional named Eleanor. This girl was a grumpy team leader, but Will knew instantly that the kid wasn't so bad. She's just a certain way because of specific circumstances. Eleanor is actually a kind person and has a lot of knowledge about netflix documentaries about serial killers.

Will immediately found out that she was the daughter of Mr. Wolf. A gunman he caught years ago. Right from the start, he'd already noticed that the girl had a lot of anger in her. Both for what her father did and for the Owl that caught him. Oftentimes, the two would end up having lunch together and they would talk about personal things.

"Sa totoo lang kuya, di naman sha ma kukulong kung hindi sya na huli nung Owl." Eleanor would say.

"Well kiddo, actually, not to rain on the whole thing, pero in the first place, hindi rin sha dapat nang hostage. Yung Owl kasi nang ba balance lang ng mga circumstances sa city." Will would try and give her a different perspective, all while flipping through his cell phone for updates.

"Well, totoo.. Hirap ren ma let go, kuya. Kung di sha na kulong and na correct yung situation nya sana pulis parin sha tas hindi mahirap buhay namin." Eleanor said.

"I get what you mean." was all he could say. Instead of keeping Eleanor in track with what's right and wrong, Will remembered the people they had encountered last Christmas eve. But he had to bury all the trauma so he could still function.

Having a friend accompany him every day at the office made doing so a lot more easy. But what Will did not expect was buried issues will, after a while, bleed through.
