If I had a way to wake up in a crisis it would be by a broken alarm clock and not inhaling smoke dust and choking on it afterwards. Once I cleaned the dust from the inside of my lungs, I looked around my surrounding to see corpses' under huge pieces of rumble. In the very long distance was Aki fighting Reze who had Denji on the ground burnt to a crisp. When I tried to get up and help Aki I finally noticed something hard and heavy on my left leg. It was the Aki's car. 

'Must've flew out of it.' I tried pulling and yanking it but it wasn't working at all and it made the pain in my leg worse. I leaned back on my hands and tried to slowly pull out this time to see if it was going to work but that made it ten times worse than before. While I was yelping in sharp pain a cool metal made contact with my finger tips. I turned my head back and saw that it was a sharp metal pole that must've broken off of a building when I was asleep. I took ahold of it and held the sharp, broken part over my leg that was covered by the car. I bit down on my shirt's collar and squeezed my eyes shut. The next second later a excruciating pain flew up in my leg and into my spine. The metal dug more and more into my upper thigh until it went all the way through, even through the bone. I gasped in pained and maybe relief as I spun the pole around in my own flesh like I was mixing cookie batter. After spinning it more into my flesh, my leg's skin was almost hanging on for dear life. I leaned back on my hands again with the help of my kagune this time and pushed myself back at a forceful force. I landed back on my head and sat up to see my left leg missing. I put all the support on my right leg and two strips of my kagune as a replacement for my left leg. I started to jump twice and the third and final time I flew up in the air and one inch away from Aki and Denji. 

"HAYAKAWA! HEADS UP!" Both Reze and Denji stopped and looked up with shock and confusion and surprise on their faces. Once I landed one strip pushed Reze away, far enough so that I could grab Aki and Denji. 

"WHAT THE HELL-!?" 

"I KNOW! YOU CAN THANK ME LATER!" I ran and ran into a neighborhood that was empty and unscathed. I placed down Denji and let go of Aki before stabbing my own hand and letting the blood drip down into Denji's mouth. 

"Y/n! Your leg-!" 

"It'll grow back, don't worry." He ignored what I said and still looked concerned and shocked at my missing left leg. I got ahold of the chain on Denji's chest and yanked it back, the sound of the chainsaw's engine echoing the empty ally's. He sat right up and looked around, staring at Aki and me. He then looked down at my wound and gaped. "Shut up." I looked behind me and saw Angel who was carrying a dead, wounded woman and Beam next to him. 

"LORD CHAINSAW!" Angel walked towards me and handed me the corspe. I nodded as I sunk my teeth into the wound that was in her waist. 

"Your girlfriend is killing too many people. Leave her loose like this, and many more will die. Choose, Chainsaw. Do you let her kill you without a fight, mitigating casualties or do you kill her??" Denji then slowly got up, shaking the dust and rocks off his devil head. 

"Pretty easy choice if you ask me!" He paused and drooped his head down. "Reze's insanely strong though." I made a face at him with furrowed brows. 

"Then get stronger. Easy." Everyone looked at me bewildered and Angel started to chuckle. 

"That's easier said than done, you know." 

"But I did." I snapped. I gently placed the dead woman back on the ground and went face to face with Denji. "See??" I wiggled my left leg and then kicked him with the same leg into his knee, making his leg break inwards. He yelped in pain and fell back on his ass. I squat down in front of him and leaned in. "If I can get stronger you can as well. Now all that's left is just doing it." I opened his jaw with one of my hands and stuck my other one along his teeth, forcing him to dig his teeth into my hand until it bleed. "Beam."
