Chapter 11

I haven't been feeling good lately. My lower back hurt, I have massive ass headache and then I be having morning sickness. I feel so bloated and I don't like the feeling at all.

Today is the day I launch my clothing line. It's called 'Thick Goddess'. The reason why I chose that name because I want every big woman to feel like they are beautiful for who they are. Inside and out.

August came in the room to help me get dress. I really wasn't feeling best today.

"Wanna stay home and we reschedule it?" He asked

"No, I waited too long for this day to happen." I answered.

He nodded as he went to get my dress. I sat up on the bed feeling my head and I felt lightheaded.

"You okay baybeh?" he questioned. I just looked at him and nodded. Just sitting there and having this feeling to throw up. As I predicted, I got up and ran to the toilet and threw up. Good thing I made there on time because I would have had a mess to clean up.

August was holding my hair up. "I'm cancelling the show." he ordered

"No baby, just get me a ginger ale and I'll be okay." I assured him.

"Okay" he replied as he walked out the bathroom. I got up and flushed the toilet, then brushed my teeth.

My makeup artist was here to beat my face then I was waiting for my hairstylist.

While I was waiting on him, I grabbed my iPad and searched up pregnancy symptoms. A whole lot of information came up. What if I am pregnant? What if August leaves me? Am I ready to have a baby if I am pregnant? So much thoughts was going through my mind, I didn't even know my stylist was playing in my hair and August was standing in front of me with my drink. I took it from him and sipped on it.

My hairstylist was finally done with my hair. I walked right into my walk in closet and put my outfit on. I walked out and seen August in his all white Armani Exchange outfit. He was looking good and everything.

"You look good baby." he said as he was kissing me.

"So do you" I replied in between kisses.

We were on our way to a place where they had a runway and a bar. Once we got there I made sure all the girls were in the right pieces.

Everything was in the right places and it was show time. I walked up on stage and before I could say anything I looked out in the audience and seen how much people came out to support me. I was so nervous to even begin.

"Thank you so much for coming out to support me. This means so much to me for you guys to see what I have created for us beautiful big girls. I hope you guys see what you like. Enjoy!" I said as I was walking back.

The show finally started and all the girls was looking great. I am happy the people who showed their support enjoyed themselves.

Before we left the bar, I went to the bathroom and peed on the pregnancy stick that my assistant bought me. I peed on all 5 of them just to be sure. I mean, what if we do have a baby on the way. I would be happy but I don't think August would.

August and I gotten in the car and he had just been staring at me.

"What? Something on my face?" I asked because he sure is staring hard.

"No, you're just beautiful. That's all" he replied as he smiled.

"Aw, thanks baby." I answered back then pulled out my phone

"Monae'?"

"Yes!"

"Let's have a baby" he said out of no where. I looked at him and smiled. Well I guess this is the perfect time to tell him.

"I think we are. I took 5 tests and I'll look at it when we reach the penthouse"

He nodded. "I would be so happy to have an Alsina with you." he said as he was holding me rubbing my belly.

I smiled. "Me too baby, me too"

Once we reached the house I went to change my clothes. I guess August went in my bag and saw the tests because he screamed.

"What's wrong August?" I said running into the living room.

He looked at me and smiled. He walked up to me and gave me long passionate kiss. "I love you baby." he said before kissing me again then went to my belly "I love you too baby" then kissed it too.

Now we was eye to eye. "We having a baby, Monae" he said as he looked me right in my eyes. "We really are baby" I said. I was so happy that August was excited for this baby. I didn't have to worry about hiding it.

We stayed in our bed for the rest of the night talking about babies.

Speaking of babies, I just started my new book called 'Our Pregnancy Experience Part II'. The requirements are listed, I just need some girls to join if you want. I wanted to get that book started later on today, but we will see.
