Chapter 10

It's finally graduation. I was getting my degree in fashion, and I couldn't be so much happier. I was already at the school waiting on my family so I could give them the tickets.

I saw gramma walking towards me with the biggest smile on her face. I wanted to know who all came to graduation, but she walked off so fast. I knew August was here because he said he was going to be here. Now it was time to walk down the aisle. I was looking for my family, and couldn't find them no where. Once we gotten to the front of the arena, I found my family sitting in the middle row. I noticed August wasn't there and I just brushed it off thinking he was going to be late.

Graduation lasted for another two hours and we were finally graduates. We threw our caps in the air and cheered.

"I am so proud of you, baby"

"Thanks mom."

Dad came around and took a lot of pictures with me and all my siblings.

"Congrats baby girl." he said as he was giving me my gift. "Thanks dad." I opened it to see a key to some kind of car. I was getting really excited because I always wanted an Impala. Once we gotten in the front of the school, there sit a white 2015 Impala and I screamed from the top of my lungs.

I couldn't believe August did that to me after what we been through. I wasn't going to let whatever the situation ruin my day because at the end of the day he was a dead man.

Once I reached August's condo, I seen Kailani walking out, and a topless August. So many things was running through my head and I was thinking of things to do to this bitch.

"Hi Monae'"

"You have the audacity to say hi to me after you done probably fucked my man."

She just stared at me confused. "Um, August call me later."

"Tuh, he won't be doing anything of that so don't be waiting either."

She walked away. I guess she got the point of me being serious this time because the last time I caught her, I let her ass slide. August pulled me into his condo, and looked me in the eyes.

"What is your problem?" I scoffed at his question like is he serious for asking me that.

"My problem? The real question is why is she here? Don't you think for second she caused enough drama for us already?" I asked

"Monae', we did not do anything. I promise that on my life. She only came here to sign her contract to end all connection associated with me. She doesn't even work for me anymore so you need to just calm down."

I crossed my arms, not believing everything this nigga was saying.

"That's bullshit, and you know that. She must be doing a hella of a good job because she is always around. You must be into skinny bitches again. Am I not good enough? Am I getting fatter? What's seems to be the problem? Not to mention, you missed graduation for this tramp." I said as I was breaking down.

"No, no, no baby. You are perfectly fine." he said as he tried to get a hold of me, but I step back.

"You're lying!" I said shaking my head and tears started to come down faster.

"You're just overreacting. We did not do nothing. Damn, why must you be so sensitive?"

"It's because of YOU!!" I said pushing him back and walking out his condo. I got in my car and broke down again. I don't want to lose him again. Everything was so good up until now. Maybe he's right, maybe I am overreacting.

I went on home and got dress for the dinner. I'll just tell them August had a to work overtime. I don't want them all on my case like they were the last time. Hopefully dinner will get this off of my mind.
