Kazuha was never the same after his lover's death. He could barely take it. Beidou didn't even know what to do with him anymore. She could just check on him time to time, and she could never do anything else with the heartbroken boy. Little did he know, she was alive. She was held captive by the Fatui, who kept her for experiments. They had stolen her vision, and she has been tortured, to the point she wanted to kill herself but did not, in hopes Kazuha would find her...

"Paimon has news!" Paimon burst into Kazuha's room, yelling, "It's about Ms. Y/n! We found her! She's not dead!" "Stop lying, Paimon," He snapped at her, "She's dead." "No she's not, she's been taken by the Fatui," Aether walked in the room, joining the conversation, "we need your help to save her. Please." He put a hand on Kazuha's shoulder. Kazuha thought about it for a while. "What's the plan?" He got up, spinning on his heel to look at them.

They all discussed the plan, and headed to Mondstat where Y/n was kept captive. They headed there, beating everything in their path without hesitation. Kazuha wanted, no needed, to get his lover back. He needed to see her alive. They finally found her in a cell, beaten and fragile. "Kazuha?" She asked weakly. "It's me, my love," He said picking her up, "Let's get out of here."

All Kazuha, Aether, Paimon, and Y/n, got out. Y/n was finally safe and in his arms. Kazuha wanted to kill every member of the Fatui for hurting his girlfriend, but he was mainly concerned about her health at the time. She was traumatized, and was still in pain from time to time. There were days she was strong enough to walk on her own, but her bad days, she just stayed in bed. All Kazuha could do on those bad days was be there for her and comfort her.

Once she was transferred, she was visited daily by her siblings Ayato and Ayaka, as well as Beidou. Only after a few months, she was able to do more things than before. Even if she was traumatized, she had her lover there for her. She always would.
