"Y/n! Let's go get some malasadas!" Hau exclaimed, running up to his friend. He crashed into her, hugging her tight. "Don't sneak up on me that way, Hau!" Y/n chuckled, squealing. The two were often mistaken for a couple due to their close friendship, so when they were asked about it they'd always blush and become flustered. The two were opposites, Y/n being shy and quiet while Hau was a burst of energy, friends with everyone he met on Melemele Island (excluding Team Skull). Not too long later, they arrived at the shop to buy malasadas.

"These are always good." Y/n hummed, taking a bite. Hau chuckled as he gobbled down a malasada. "Of course they're good! The best on the island!" He stated, mouth full of food. He then smiled, noticing that she usually didn't have too many malasadas. "Why do you only take one or two? You should have more! You're going to be as skinny as me if you don't eat more!" Hau scolded, worried for his friend's well-being.

"I'm fine, Hau. My stomach isn't an endless pit like yours." Y/n giggled, taking another small bite from the fried dough. "Ha ha, very funny. But for real, you really should eat more, my mom always says I need to put on more weight." Hau pouted with a huff. He then looked at Y/n and smirked, his eyes having a dangerous glint behind them. He knew exactly what would fluster her. He shifted his body so he was facing her, and spoke in a low tone. "Or do you just want me to feed you?"

She blushed furiously, shaking her head. "I can feed myself!" She told him. As Y/n blushed even more, Hau couldn't help but find her reaction adorable. He couldn't help but tease her more. "Your face is becoming the color of a tomato. So cute!" He laughed, pinching her cheeks.

"It isn't funny that you keep teasing me, Hau." She pouted, swallowing my malasadas. "I can't help it, you're too easy to tease," Hau replied with a smirk. He knew exactly how to push her buttons, and he found it amusing. Taking a malasada, he lifted it to her lips. "Come on, just one more bite." Y/n took the bite, face flushed.

Hau watched as she took a bite from the malasada, his smirk growing wider. "There, that wasn't so bad, was it? Now open up again." He brought the treat to her lips once more. "Let me chew!" She exclaimed, covering her mouth with my hand as she chewed.

"Why do you blush when I tease you like this? It's not like we're a couple or anything." He asked, his smirk turning into a gentle smile. He had secretly been harboring feelings for Y/n for a while now, but he didn't want to ruin their friendship by confessing and getting rejected. "It's a bit embarrassing..." Y/n trailed off, glancing away from Hau.

Hau tilted his head slightly, a knowing look in his eyes as he leaned in closer. "Embarrassing? What could be embarrassing about me teasing you like this?" He smiled, "Come on, you can tell me." "I'm saying that it's embarrassing that you keep feeding me." She explained to him, playing with his dark green hair as she looked back at him. Hau chuckled, a sly grin on his face.

"Ah, is that so? I guess I am enjoying feeding you a bit too much, huh?" He grabbed another malasada and brought it to her lips. "You're just too cute when you're flustered. It's hard to resist teasing you." Y/n took a bite, munching happily. She brought her malasada to his lips, giggling.

Hau raised an eyebrow, surprised by her bold move. "Oh ho, now you're copying me?" He chuckled, opening his mouth to let her feed him the malasada. "If you can do it to me, I can do it to you!" She told him, watching as he bit down.

Hau laughed, "Fair enough!" As he chewed the malasada, he couldn't help but feel a pang in his chest. This moment felt strangely intimate as if they were a couple. He mentally slapped himself, telling himself not to get ahead of himself. "You know, you look cute feeding me like that." He said, casually. Y/n paused, looking at him. "Thank you..."
