Shu has been busy for the past few months, not giving (Y/n any time of the day. Being his girlfriend, this honestly hurt her a lot. He's so focused on Aiger, a boy who is getting corrupted that he doesn't realize he's been neglecting his beloved. Currently, he's at his study and working on his laptop. Papers were scattered across the floor, the curtains closed and the place dark. "You should take a break." You tell him, turning the lights on. "This is important, (Y/n). I can't stop right now." He growled at you. "But-" He cut you off, yelling. "Get out of my office, (Y/n)!" He snarled at her.

She was silent, tears in her eyes as he yelled at her. He's never yelled before. (Y/n) stuck by his side through thick and thin when he was at the Snake Pit, she was there through it all when he first started Beyblade. The )h/c)-nette left the room quickly, tears rolling down her cheeks.

His expression softened as he saw the tears in her eyes, his heart tightening. He knew he had gone too far, especially with the way he spoke to (Y/n). He was frustrated with the situation, but taking it out on his girlfriend was not the way to handle it. The sound of the door closing echoed in the room, leaving it eerily quiet. He sighed, his shoulders slumping. He put his head down on the table, realizing he had hurt the one person who had always been there for him.

Minutes passed, and the weight of his error only grew heavier on him. He couldn't focus on his work, the image of the (e/c) eyed girl's tears ingrained in his mind. The silence in the air was overwhelming, and the guilt began to consume him as he replayed the scene over and over again. Finally, he pushed back his chair and stood up. He couldn't ignore the fact that he had hurt his lover, that he had shouted at her and sent (Y/n) away with tears in her eyes. It was a realization that hit him like a punch to the gut.

(Y/n) was in their shared bedroom, light footsteps rushing around as she packed. She filled her duffel bag with all she could, knowing she would probably come back for everything later. Tears streamed down her face while she did, knowing she was doing what was good for herself.

Shu walked slowly towards the bedroom, his steps heavy and filled with remorse. As he approached the room, he heard soft, muffled sobs coming from inside. His heart ached as he pushed the door open, revealing his girlfriend packing her belongings. The sight hit him harder than he thought it would. Seeing (Y/n), the person he loved the most, hurt and leaving because of his actions cut through him like a knife.

The albino didn't know what to say at first, his words caught in his throat. The usual confident and composed demeanor he carried himself with was gone, replaced by a mix of guilt, hurt, and regret. He just stood there, watching her pack in silence. Finally, he managed to find his voice and speak, "Please... don't go." It was a plea, a heartfelt request that held a mix of desperation and sorrow.

"I'm done being an afterthought, Shu. I'm done being a burden, a bother." (Y/n) whispered, looking up at him. "I've been there for you all these years without asking for anything in return. Did you think my patience would last forever?" She asked, closing her bag. Shu's heart sank further at your words, the weight of the truth behind them hitting him hard. He knew you were right. All this time, he had taken her presence for granted, assuming her love for him was limitless and unconditional.

He swallowed, his voice hoarse as he tried to find the right words to express himself. "I... I have been an idiot, haven't I?" He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "You've always been there for me, standing by me through everything, and this is how I repay you..." He sighed, disappointed with myself. He watched as her shoulders trembled while she packed, the tension in the room thick enough to be cut with a knife.

He took a few steps forward, closing the distance between you and him. "I'm so sorry. You're not an afterthought, not a burden, not a bother. You're the person I love most in this world, and I have taken everything you've given to me for granted." He reached out to gently touch her arm, his fingers barely brushing against your skin. "Please, don't go. I need you." He whispered, voice soft, just like when the two would lie in bed on a cold night, watching a movie and cuddling. Oh, how nice those days were.

"No, you don't." (Y/n) snapped, holding back a sob. "You can get any other girl you want, so don't bother with me." She zipped her bag closed, taking the jewelry he gave her off and leaving all his gifts and perfumes he gave behind. Her (e/c) gaze lingered on the jewelry before she shook it off, continuing to pack.

His heart shattered at his girlfriend's words. He watched as she removed the jewelry he gifted her, the pain in his chest growing with each piece (Y/n) took off. He could feel the distance between them growing. "No. I don't want any other girl." He protested, his voice filled with desperation. "I want you. You're the one I love. I made a mistake. I was an idiot. Don't leave me, please." He begged,  stepping closer to her. He had to choose his words carefully. Next thing he knew, he'd trigger her and lose all his chances of convincing her to stay.

"Idiots face consequences." She sighed, handing him the earrings and necklace he gave her, and grabbing her bag, and slinging the strap over her shoulder. Shu carefully took the earrings and necklace from her hand, his fingers closing around the two pieces of (birthstone) jewelry tightly. Every fiber of his being was screaming for him to fix this, to make (Y/n) stay.

Shu reached out to take her hand, stopping her from walking away. "Please. Let me fix this. Please..." His voice broke, the vulnerability in his eyes evident. "I'll do anything to make it up to you. Just don't leave me." He pulled (Y/n) closer, his hand still holding onto yours. "I cannot bear the thought of you walking out that door, leaving me behind. I'm not a good man, I know that, but I'm willing to change for you. For us."

He paused, looking into her (e/c) eyes, his own filled with a mixture of fear, desperation, and love. "Just give me another chance. Please don't give up on me." He pleaded, wrapping his hands around hers.

She abruptly pulled away, glaring. "I changed my whole life for you, Shu! I changed who I was, who I wanted to be, my dreams, my ideals just so you would be happy! I suffered in the Snake Pit with you so you wouldn't be alone even when you pushed me away, I took the endless training, the beatings, and everything. I'm done." (Y/n) glared at him, angry. She'd never had an outburst before. Yes, a bit of yelling during serious arguments but never something like this.

Shu's heart ached at her words. It was true, that (Y/n) had given up so much for him. She had put her dreams on hold to support him, endured the hardships of the Snake Pit to be by his side. And in return, he had taken all of the love his girlfriend gave him for granted, shutting her out and treating her like an afterthought. He stumbled back slightly as she pushed him away. The realization of his actions was hitting him like a ton of bricks. "I know. I know," he said softly, his voice cracking. "And I don't deserve you."

The albino male dropped his gaze to the floor, his heart heavy with guilt. "You've given so much for me, and I've been blind to it. I've been selfish, putting my own goals before your happiness."He looked back up at (Y/n)'s teary eyes, his own filled with remorse. "But I'm begging you, please don't give up on me. I know I have no right to ask for it, but I'm ready to do whatever it takes to make this right. Just give me a chance to show you how much I appreciate you, how much I love you." He begged, stepping closer to her.

"Fine..." (Y/n) mumbled, dropping her bag and giving in. "If you take me for granted one more time we're done." She looked up at him, tears welling up. Shu could tell she was genuinely mad but was relieved that she had enough heart to forgive him.

A wave of relief washed over him as she agreed to give him another chance. He let out a deep breath, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly. "Thank you," he whispered, taking a step closer to (Y/n). "I won't. I swear, I won't take you for granted ever again." He wrapped his arms around his almost ex, pulling her into a tight embrace. He buried his face in her hair, his voice thick with emotion. "I'm sorry. I love you."
