Is he crazy, he's picking up the fights even now, he's childish, he's annoying, oh my god. Yeonjun thought on his way to Bumjune's car. He hugged his friend and greeted him, then, Bumjune opened the door for him, and he got in. His face was blank, his brows still furrowed. If the anger could be a human, it would be Yeonjun.
Bumjune looked at Soobin for the last time and waved to him. However, the boy took Hyein's hand and without answering him, he closed the door. Then, Bumjune got in the car. He felt Yeonjun's annoyance just by a single look.
"Is everything fine?" Bumjune asked, he put his arm around Yeonjun's headrest. He had more questions for the boy but decided to put them behind him. Comforting him was the priority for now.
"I'm sorry, Bumjune, I've already ruined it, haven't I?" Yeonjun sighed, hiding his face in his hands. The other chuckled leaning closer to him.
"Nothing would ever ruin our first date, especially not you," he whispered with a soft smile. Yeonjun's heart pounded even faster, he looked at his friend shocked.
"D-date?" Yeonjun stuttered, in his eyes, it was a date from the very beginning, but hearing Bumjune admitting it, was completely not what he was expecting.
"Isn't it?" He laughed and reached for Yeonjun's hands, he pulled them down to look at his face. "Hm, you even did makeup, of course, you knew it was a date."
"You're embarrassing me," Yeonjun mumbled and turned his head the other way. Bumjune laughed, adjusting himself. He sat properly and started the car.
"But, I'm serious Yeonjun."
And Yeonjun has never been more serious than at that moment. However, he didn't feel any butterflies in his stomach, he didn't feel his heart racing and then stopping, his head spinning from happiness. It was a confession, but it wasn't as satisfying as when Soobin-
Yeonjun stopped the thought. He hated how everything Bumjune-related eventually came down to Soobin. That boy has been back for two days and still managed to turn his whole life upside down. Starting from his dating life, which he thought would finally blossom after getting rid of his feelings for Soobin.
Yeonjun hated how he was sitting in a nice car with an amazing man, who also had feelings for him, but his thoughts would still linger on Soobin.
"Let's have fun," Yeonjun tried to sound cheerful, he even forced a smile.
Bumjune drove off, with music playing from the radio.
"You don't like Bumjune?" Hyein asked when the car drove off. The two of them stood in front of the window, Soobin's face expressed annoyance with his twitching lips, furrowed eyebrows, and tensed veins.
"Do you know him?" Soobin wondered whether he was an intruder in Yeonjun's life, that even his cousin preferred that jerk instead of Soobin.
"We met a few times, he often visits with his dad." The girl didn't look fascinated while talking about him, Soobin nodded to her to give him more details about those meetings. "Well, I talked to you more today than to him ever."
Her summary was enough for Soobin to understand her feelings and only admitted something he was always sure of. Bumjune was a jerk.
"Don't you wanna leave the house? Aren't you bored of sitting here all the time?" Soobin didn't just ask, he purposely persuaded her into going out.
With a bright smile on her face, she nodded.
"Where are we going?" She asked looking at Soobin, who truly had no idea. His impulse wanted them to follow Yeonjun and that no-name, but he also didn't know about their whereabouts. The girl sighed, "If you promise to buy me anything I want, I'll tell you where they are."
