"You have no friends?" Hiyyih looked over her phone while teasing her brother.
She was lying on her bed, she was reading an ebook and listening to music when her brother entered the room. At first, she decided to ignore him strolling around, touching every little thing she owned on the shelves, but then he sat on the edge of the bed and sighed. The girl furrowed her brows and kicked him so he would move.
"Taehyun and Beomgyu went camping," Kai sighed once again. Hiyyih rolled her eyes. She took off her earphones and sat straight. "Yeonjun and Soobin don't answer their phones, probably hanging out together."
"Just go over there, it's not like they would send you away."
"Soobin might..."
Kai playing with his fingers worried his sister. She nudged his arm.
"Why, did you two get in the fight?" Hiyyih asked, the boy instantly shook his head. "Then what?"
Outing Soobin by accident to his sister was not something he would ever do to his friend. He had to keep it to himself, as he was still unsure whether Soobin was even aware of his own feelings for Yeonjun.
"Never mind, I don't know. I'm happy the group is finally back, but I can't help but feel left out." Kai struggled to say that sentence. He felt wrong for admitting his true feelings out loud. "And I'm not mad at Yeonjun and Soobin for getting close again after he moved back here, but I don't know I feel weird."
"Uh, Kai." The girl put her hand on her brother's back. "Just go over there and talk to them. I'm sure it's all just in your head, and they truly care about you."
"I know, am I being too dramatic?"
"Very much yes." She laughed, so the boy could let out a slight chuckle. "But I understand. I don't have any close friends, unlike you. I'm always jealous whenever you go out with them. 'Cause when I get close to someone I always worry if I am good enough to be their friend. You're very lucky, you know." She pursed her lips.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Kai asked her almost whispering.
"No!" She exclaimed and punched his arm. "I think we've been too emotional for the past ten minutes, so."
"Good, because I don't want to see you ugly cry," he responded and furrowed his brows. Another punch came his way.
Kai stood up and walked to the door.
"Just so you know... You don't have to be good enough for someone to have a real friend. You're fine as you are." After saying that, he left his sister's room.
He went to Hiyyih because he was bored. He didn't expect her to console him, and then that he would help her with her worries. Talking about friendship made him realize a few things about his friends. And now he was getting ready to visit Soobin's house.

"Ew, who even has hair that long in this house?" Yeonjun exclaimed, his face full of disgust, while he held the handful of hair.
"A ghost," Soobin answered without looking. He was closing his eyes while cleaning the toilet. Crouching down, his knees hurt. "To be honest you should do everything by yourself, why I am even involved in this shit, literally."
"Who told you to buy these beers?" Yeonjun nagged at him.
"Who told you to get drunk on soju?!" Soobin yelled back at him. Then they both chuckled, remembering the night before.
"It's funny, isn't it?" Yeonjun asked, trying not to burst into laughter. "It's also funny how that jerk hasn't contacted me yet." Yeonjun closed the shower doors and stood up.
