"Hi, Yeonjun," Choi Soobin greeted the older boy.

Yeonjun standing right in front of his eyes looked even more handsome than in the pictures. The last time they met, they were around the same height and even though Soobin was towering over him now, Yeonjun appeared to grow a bit. His facial features became sharper, he lost some of the fat in his cheeks. He used to look cute, but now was beaming with charisma. Soobin looked at Yeonjun's short, curly, black hair that exposed his forehead. He remembered the bowl cut that Yeonjun used to have in middle school.

Seeing Yeonjun again made him realize that he missed out on a lot of his friend's life. He took a deep breath trying not to appear too depressed. Soobin eyed the outfit the older was wearing. A quick chuckle left his mouth.

"Why are you here?" Yeonjun on the other hand sounded disappointed. On the verge of tears, he tried his best to keep his composure.

Taehyun who was standing next to Soobin, felt the atmosphere getting heavier. He suspected that the two should talk first. That's why he looked at the bewildered and embarrassed Beomgyu. They quickly exchanged signals.

"Gyu, help me with these boxes, won't you?" Beomgyu nodded.

"I'm gonna hug you later, bro," Beomgyu said to Soobin, who chuckled in response and then walked off to the truck with Taehyun.

Yeonjun was still staring at Soobin, unsure what to say or how to behave in that situation.

"I came back for senior year with my dad. I'll attend university here too." Soobin explained with a soft smile.

"T-that's great," stuttering, he scratched his arm. "I'll greet your dad later, my cousin is alone at the house, I shouldn't leave her." He turned around ready to walk away, he almost tripped himself because of the stiffness in his legs.

"Wait, Yeonjun," Soobin tried to stop him. The situation was overwhelming for both of them. "Let's hang out later, ok? I'll be at Taehyun's in the evening, are you coming too?"

"Yeah, I'll be there," Yeonjun answered without looking at him.

He went inside the house and shut the door. His heart raced, sweat appeared on his neck, his breathing became unstable, and those stupid butterflies wouldn't stop messing around inside his stomach. What seemed like a dream he had countless nights happened at that moment, but it felt no different than a nightmare in a reality. He wished it could have happened when Yeonjun had been completely over his feelings, in an established relationship, and with a successful career. However, destiny played with him like a fool. Choi Soobin, his first love and childhood friend appeared right in front of him after years of not talking to each other. He felt embarrassment painting his cheeks red.

Yeonjun finally took a deep breath and walked to the bathroom. As it was already an afternoon, his parents could be home any minute. He had to get ready for the evening. He suspected the rest of the guys would eventually come up with a welcoming party. Taking a long shower was the best way to prepare his mind.

In the meantime, Beomgyu reached for a box from the truck with 'kitchen utensils' written on it. It was quite heavy, but he managed to lift it. Taehyun was right next to him, taking twice the amount of what he was lifting. Beomgyu didn't dare to comment on it or even stare in awe, too afraid to be made fun of by his lack of strength.

"So, that was your super secret plans with Yeonjun? Dressing up as fairies?" Taehyun teased, but his friend only groaned in response.

"His cousin has a birthday today. He wanted me to help with celebrating. Her family couldn't make it..." Beomgyu answered mumbling with disappointment in his voice.
