Soon after meeting with Shelby's grandma, Katherine found herself flying swiftly towards spawn where she had asked some of her friends to meet her with very short notice.
She flew over - praying that someone could be asked to come - spawn and spotted four figures milling around spawn. Scott and Jimmy sitting either sides of the pit, Scott twirling a shiny diamond blade in his hands.
Sausage was also there, watching as Gem demonstrated her impressively ferocious battle skills on a dummy that Sausage had set up.
Katherine landed hurriedly stumbling on the grass, drawing the attention of the three sleep-robbed Emperors.
"Thanks for coming on such short notice," Katherine told them.
"Why d'you bring us here?" Jimmy asked, getting up from the edge of the pit, adjusting his sheriff hat.
"Shelby's corrupt and in trouble and I- we need to help her." Katherine said firmly.
"What are we waiting for then?" Gem asked, coming over with her axe slung over her shoulder, "Let's go save your true love!"
Katherine felt herself go bright red, "My what-?"
"Kind of," Scott nodded as Sausage chuckled to himself.
Katherine scratched the back of her head, she didn’t need to reply, right? "Let's go save Shelby, already. We're wasting time!"
Katherine got ready to fly into the direction of the Evermore when she was stopped by Jimmy's voice.
"Do we get any reward for helping?" He asked, hopefully.
The hairs on the back of Katherine's neck bristled, "Do you get a reward for being Sheriff?"
"Well, no, but-"
"Then there's no reward for helping a friend," Katherine spat, taking off into the black night.
"Jimmy, you don’t have to help, you know?" Scott told the short sheriff.
"It's the good thing to do." Jimmy said, firmly, "Plus being evil is a lot of pressure,"
He took off into the air behind Gem and Sausage, leaving Scott staring after him with a small smile.

Katherine was cruising over the Evermoore, glancing down at the silent clearing of witch huts and buildings, waiting for her friends to arrive. What was taking them so long?
Katherine began to get impatient when she finally spotted specks flying to the Evermore.
But from the wrong direction.
She narrowed her eyes as the figures began to multiply. Oh nononono.
"What do we do now?" Katherine nearly fell from the air as Sausage had appeared behind her.
"Hide." Katherine instructed as Scott and Jimmy finally joined them and the team of five dipped into the dense trees that surrounded Shelby's clearing.
They hid in the foliage as hum of brooms could be heard above them.
"Who...?" Scott wandered out loud.
Katherine's gut twisted with dread as above them an amplified voice sounded across the Evermoore.
"Lesser Witch Shelby! Come peacefully and no harm will be done."
Katherine peered out from her hiding place, looking straight at Shelby's front door.
It burst open and the wooden door came off it's hinges.
The shadowy figure of Shelby stood in the doorway, turquoise eyes glowing with fury in the darkness of the swamp.
