Sam POV

Today is Monday. I'm going to the office after a year since I haven't been there in person.I always participated via Zoom in all meetings or left Kirk to charge, sometimes he needed me, but again due to the state I was in, I only helped him via Zoom or making phone calls

I wanted to apologize to my employees, I wanted the old Sam to no longer exist.I no longer want my employees to work because of fear and to be afraid of me, I wanted to be a united family that took care of each other

That's why I decided to change the rule in which it was forbidden to have relationships between employees,I wanted all those I fired because of this to return, here I am referring exclusively to Yha and Chin, they were among my best employees and I wanted to fix my mistakes

Besides that, I wanted to reconcile with Tee, Jim and Kade. They were always by my side and I'm sure they took care of Mon for me when I couldn't be close anymore.

I know that Kade is not in a relationship yet, I knew that Jim gave birth to a beautiful baby girl but unfortunately she divorced the man she was married to who was also the father of the child,he wasn't allowed to see the child because he was aggressive and from Tee I know that she is now with Yuki, I needed to apologize to her too.Tee proposed to Yuki and that was the last thing I know about them

I wanted to fix my mistakes, all of them

I snapped out of my own thoughts, starting to prepare for the day. After reaching the office I decided to start a meeting to apologize

I got dressed but I didn't have breakfast, I was too preoccupied to eat and I wanted to arrive early

I took my purse and left, without wasting any more time

I arrived at the company and parked the car. I entered the building and went straight to the office, saying good morning to Auntie Mhee.I put my purse on the desk and started looking for Yha and Chin's number and the numbers of the other people I fired because of that stupid rule I imposed

After I got the numbers, I called Kirk to come to my office to talk to him about the rule change but also to contact Yha and the rest

After five minutes,Kirk entered my office with a apologetic smile

"Hi Sam"

"Hi Kirk"

He sat on the chair in front of me

"So,you want me to contact Yha,Chin and the rest of people you fired becaue of the relationship rule?"

"Yes,i want to rewrite the rule and also to make a meeting to apologize"

"Alright,I will do that.After I make the calls I will come to rewrite the rule with you but I also want to talk"

"Alright then,go make the calls and come here after."

"Okay"

He left the office and I started to prepare for the meeting

After 20 minutes,Kirk came back.I was sitting on the sofa so he sat next to me

"I called them and they will be here in half an hour.Now."

He said and turned to look at me

"What happened Sam?I'm worried about you"

"Kirk,I really want to put an end to all of this.I want to be free so i chose my happiness for the first time in my life and I'm happy about it"
