As bexity led the creatures out of the cave, the demon sniffed the air, let out a distorted scream, and ran off.

In a tree nearby, a sand colored cat was smoothing her fur, until she saw bexity, jumping down only to be kicked into the tree by a shadow.

It looked like some sort of demon, with many mouths and eyes, as it held the cat down with a limb.

The black creature was the first to spring into action, launching itself at the demon, only to be too late.

The creature slammed it's weight on the cat, it letting out a yowl and looking at bexity.

As the demon and creature fought, bexity ran to sapphire, who weakly lifted her head

"I guess I should've been careful.. I'm not as strong as I used to be.. continue on, child of the before"

Bexity then watched silently as she went limp, then slowly faded away, the only thing left behind was a snow-grass petal.

Eventually the demon was chased off, but the white dragon had sat next to bexity, draping it's wing over her and providing comforting hums.

Sapphires death hurt all of the elementals, too.

Bexity eventually stood, and with a sigh spoke

"We must go to the shaded mansion, before things get out of hand"

The lion gave a sharp nod "despite the loss, we must continue"

The rest of them gave a single nod, looking at bexity, who took a deep breath and headed towards home, the creatures following.

After a while of silence the white dragon spoke, shifting a bit to be beside bexity, and not behind her

"How old are you, bexity?"

"Sixteen, turning seventeen in August"

"Oh dear, sapphire brought a child"

Normally, bexity would've been offended and snapped at the creature, but all of that pent up anger seemed to be slowly going away.

She felt numb.

Sort of.

All those negative emotions she carried with her were going away like water in a bucket with a hole.

As the creatures followed her, she felt less and less worried, until a familiar wolf hybrid blocked the path.

He stared at bexity for a moment, before chuckling

"And here I was thinking you finally died!"

"Zero. What are you doing this far from the mansion?"

"I would ask you the sa-" he cut himself off as he noticed the creatures "thats why." He muttered to himself, then shook his head "I don't need to answer that. All I need to do is get there before you! I can blame everything on you, and with those demons with you, everyone will believe me!"

Bexitys demeanor then completely changed, and her eyes changed from brown to a rusty orange color. "You will do no such thing, canine."

Then bexity returned to normal, and zero had been snatched away by a shadow-like creature.

Bexity looked at the creatures, confused, but they just resumed walking, and then she did, ears twitching, until they got to the previous cave "me and sapphire rested here last night, it's getting late." The white one nodded "feel free to rest, we will be right outside" and therefore bexity set up her pallet again, laying down and falling asleep eventually.
