Always and Forever

Chapter 1

Regina is starled by her alarm clock, she shoots up thinking something was wrong but she just sees that its just the clock. As she goes to turn it of she catches a glimpse of the time '6:35' she jumps out of bed rushes towards the bathroom. She was supposed to be at work by 7:30 and it takes her at least an 45 minutes to get ready and its a 30 minute drive to her job

"Dammit I'm late again!" She says

She Hurry's and brushes her teeth and is in and out of the shower by 6:50. She blow drys and straighteds her hair and is putting on her make up by 7:00. She goes to get dressed and oncre again she can't find out what to where she's searching and searching she can't find want she want. Even though she has huge closet, she finally comes across a sleek black dress with sweetheart neckline that she thinks will manage. She puts the dress on and grabs a pair of black heels with a dark blue jacket. She jumps pouy of her apartment door and out o to the streets of New York.

Her car was parked just around the corner so she runs and jumps in her black Tesla. She drives to Starbucks to pick up her coffee. She starts on her way to work at 7:40. As soon as she gets there she tings sydney, her assistant, he walks in.

"Yes Mrs. Mills" he says nervously, he had just started and he had heard she was mean so he was scared.

"It's 'Ms' Mills, and when is Mr. Locksley getting here?"

"Um, he said at about 8:30"

She nodded, so he knows that she heard him. He stood there for a while thinking she was going to dismiss him or something. She peeks up at him.

"Do you need anything?" She asked annoyed

"Oh I was waiting for you tell me I can leave." Sydney says

She chuckles a little, " you know I am lawyer I have so much more important things to do than tell you when you can and can't leave my office"

He nodded and leaves her office. She then goes through file after file until sydey buzzes her that Mr. Locksley is here. When he the door opens and someone walks in. She doesn't look at him she is to busy looking for his file.

"Now what is it your being sued for again" she says with her eyes still down looking for the file

"Um I believe it was for destruction of property"

She stops. His voice wasn't recognizable she immediately knows it is not anyone she's met before, she looks up only to find a man who is breathly handsome. He has a black suit pants on with a light green button down shirt and a black suit jacket over it. Her eyes observed his body she could see the mustle in his arms she was attracted by the scruff on his face.

"And you are?" She says trying to keep herself professional and pushing the attraction she had aside.

"Robin Locksley and you are?" He said while putting his hand out for her to shake.

She stood in awe of his accent it made her shiver. Then she snapped back into reality and said " Regina Mills, your new lawyer"

He stared at her like he was confused, "I'm sorry are you missing something" she said calmly

"Well excuse my French but but I was expecting a man"

She smiles, "Most people do, but let me explain something I have never lost a case, people underestimate me because I am a woman and when I say I will make sure you win I make sure of it. I don't break my promises."

"Well then shall we get started"

"We shall" as she found the file and started her work.

- an hour later -

"Well thank you Mrs. Mills, I will be in contact for our next meeting" robin says

"Its Ms. Mills and I'll have Sydney contact you, for further information on the next meeting"

He smirks, "I didn't think a woman like you would be single"

"A woman like me" she say curious of what kind of woman he thinks she is.

"You know, hard working, breath takingly beautiful, and sophisticated" he says nervous for her respond.

She started blushing, "Well, I guess most men, don't see that in me"

"Goodbye m'lady"

"Goodbye Mr, Locksley"
