Regina arrived at work, eyes red from crying. She didn't look at anyone in the office, there wasn't any whispers today, but she could feel there eyes. The stares asking 'what was so different today?'. The stares that ask 'what happened to her'. She just ignored them and made her way to her office as quickly as possible, but before she could get in her office she was stopped by Mary Margaret.

"Regina, what happened to you?" The assistant said out of pure concern.

"It's none of your business, and its Mrs. Mills," Regina said stubbornly, she fought her self saying 'mrs.' instead of 'ms' but she just rolled her eyes and walked into her office.

Regina sat at her desk and covered her face with both hands. She took a deep breath and tears threatened to fall, but she blinked them away. She just wanted children of her own. She looked at a picture on her desk of her Robin and Roland, it just reminded her of how Roland will never truly be hers. This time a tears did fall, but she quickly wiped it away. Then she faced the picture down, and went through her emails. She couldn't focus, all she could think about was the child she wanted but didn't have.

She snap out of her feelings and tried to get some work done. She had a lot of meeting in each one they would ask her if something was wrong and she would always respond with 'just tired'. Mary Margaret would try to talk to her but Regina would always sassily and rudely respond. So she just gave up.

Robin called her a few times she didn't answer, he tried a few more times she still didn't answer. So he texted her she didn't respond, she didn't even read it. This made him even more worried than he already was, which made it harder for him to focus on his work. He just wanted to talk to her, to make sure she was okay. He was worried if she still wanted to have children because Regina is one to give up easily. He wanted to be sure what she wanted.

When work was over Regina went home not expecting to see robin home early. He was in the living room sitting on the couch, his knee bouncing up and down. She took her coat off and put her keys on the hook. Then she walked in her room not saying anything to him, just walked past him. He look up at her a followed her into the room. She took her heels off sitting on the bed. He came over to her.

"Hey," he said softly hoping she would open up to him.

"Hi," she got up at take of that very uncomfortable dress.

"Do you want to talk?" He said coming closer to her.

"About what?" She said putting on sweat pants and a tank top.

"About this morning, and about how your upset because you are not pregnant," he grabbed her hand pulling her close to him.

"I am not upset, and there is nothing talk about this morning,"

Robin sighed," fine, but if you do get upset tell me."

"Okay," she lied. he leaned in to kiss her but turned her face so it landed on her cheek," I'm going to go make dinner."

"Alright john should be here with Roland any minute," he said and when she started to walk away, he pulled her in and kissed her.

Then she went to the kitchen and started dinner and Robin stood just watching her. She saw him from the corner of her eye and smiled a little. That was the first time she smiled all day. Then she turned her head back to the food and she caught a glance of the necklace he got her. It reminded her of his intentions to only keep her happy. She knew he couldn't stand to see her like this: upset and pushing him away. She turned around to talk to him but he was gone, she heard johns voice. that meant he and Roland were here. She decided to wait until later. Roland came in and hugged her.

"Mommy!" She didn't respond," Mommy?" still no response," GINA!"

"Yes sweetie," she said finally hugging him back.

"Daddy said can Uncle John stay for dinner," he said reaching up for her to carry him but she didn't.

"Yeah," she said putting a smile on.

Roland ran out of the kitchen and she went back to making dinner but more than she was before.

- An Hour Later -

Regina called everyone for dinner and the three boys bulldozed in and sat at the table. Robin sat next to Regina and Roland was in between John and Robin.

"So have you guys set a date for you wedding," John asked simply trying to fill the silence.

"Yes we chose winter after New Years," Robin answered.

"Are you thinking of having children?" Regina but down on her bottom lip.

"Great timing John," Robin mumbled under his breath.

"Yes, well we were," Regina said getting quieter towards the end. Robins eyes shot to her, he had his answer or so he thought.

"Oh," John said awkwardly. Then they ate the rest of the dinner in silence, nothing but short glances here and there.

After dinner Regina started to clean up but Robin took the dishes from her and told her if she cooked then he should clean. Regina insisted on doing it but once again robin told her he would do it. So she just talked with John about nothing personal, just simple conversations about nothing. John left after a while he said he had some "business" to take care of.

"Alright buddy I think it's time to go to bed," Robin said to his son.

"Okay come on mommy," Roland went over and grabbed Regina's hand.

While she put Roland to bed Tobin picked up some of his toys and out then away. As he was cleaning he had come across a white envelope, unopened, not crinkled. It looked as if nobody even saw it, he read the outside didn't open it yet. It was addressed to Regina, it was the blood test results for her and Zelina. It must have gotten mixed up in the mail, Robin looked at it and thought about what to do with. He kept it in his hand and continued to clean up. When he finished he walked into his bedroom and saw Regina sitting on the bed waiting for him. She wanted to talk about how she wasn't pregnant. He still had the envelope in his hand, her eyes shit to it but she didn't ask about it. He sat it down on the dresser and changed his clothes. Then he picked it back up and handed it to her.

"This is for you," he said.

"I'll get to that later, but I need to talk to you," she said placing it on her nightstand.

"Okay," he came over and sat next to her on the bed, there backs resting against the headboard, her face looking straight ahead, not at him even though his gaze is locked on her.

"I just wanted one so bad, this isn't the first time I've tried. There were many times more before I met you, not once was I lucky enough to actually get pregnant. I thought maybe with you i could get lucky. but no, it's no use Robin, I can't get pregnant."

"Of course you can Regina, we just have to keep trying."

"No Robin it's no use. I'm hopeless," tears began to make there way down her face," I'm sorry I can't give you the family you want."

"Regina you can have children, and even if you can't have children I will still love you the same and we will figure something out okay?" He pulled her close and her head rested in the crook of his neck.

She didn't respond to him, so he just layer down with her until they fell asleep.
