Regina wanted to talk to Robin about having a baby, she didn't know how he felt about having a baby and she was anxious to know. She was pretty confident about it but it wouldn't hurt to be sure. Robin was in the living room with Roland, so she went pout and just watched them for a little bit. Robin pick Roland up and ran him around the room like an airplane. Then he brought him down and tickled and kissed him. Roland then tried to fight back but couldn't stop robins hands. She smiled, Robin looked up from Roland and saw Regina, he whispered something in Roland's ear and then Roland got up from the ground and they slowly started to walk towards her. She back up a little then Robin ran and grabbed her. He gentally placed her on the ground then he and Roland started to tickle her. They played for a while then Roland wanted to watch Lion King again so Regina set it up and Roland sat on the floor, while she and Robin sat on the couch.
"Robin," she said quietly so Roland didn't hear.
"Yes sweety," he said equally low.
"How do you feel about a baby?" She said playfully
"I think baby's are very adorable and they don't cry a lot either," he said and chuckled a little.
"Robin im serious," she said.
"I am serious."
She tilted her head, "I mean like having a baby."
His face turned serious, "I think now wouldn't be the best time, because of all the things that are going on. You know like you moving in and us going on the trip to my parents. I just don't think we are ready."
"So," she said a little sadder.
"So I don't think we should," he said trying to take her hand but she had pulled away.
"Okay, I'll be right back," her eyes started to water and she went into there room, closed and locked the door behind her.
Robin looked at Roland and because his eyes couldn't be torn from the TV he went after Regina, he was slowly figuring things out. He tried to open the door but he couldn't seem to get in so he grabbed a pin he found on the floor and picked the lock. He walked in to see her sitting on the bed looking out the widow tears streaming down her face. He came and sat next to her and put his arms around her waist attempting to pull her closer, but she moved his arm.
"I don't wan't your comfort," she said sharply.
"Well, you'll just have to accept it because I'm not going away," he said trying again to pull her closer this time she didn't push him away, "Regina, what's going on?"
"You remember our night out right," he nodded, "well I don't recall you saying that we used any protection, and at first I was worried because I didn't want to be pregnant. And then you proposed, and I just thought about us having a baby, and how nice it would be and then I did want to be. And now that I know you don't want one.."
Robin didn't say anything, he smiled. She moved her head from its resting place on his shoulder, she wiped her face and got up but he grabbed her wrist. Then pulled her down onto his lap, and kissed her. They let it linger for a little.
"Regina, I only said that because I know you, and you aren't one to move things fast and I didn't want to scare you."
She smiled, then kissed him back, this time the kiss was deeper.
"How did you get in the room, I locked the door," she said looking at the door.
"I picked it with a hair pin." He said smiling.
"You have the skills of a thief Mr. Losksley," she said before getting up to go back to the movie with Roland.
Today they were supposed to start taking Regina's thing to Robins. They had already packed her things and they just needed to bring them over to Robins apartment. So they dropped Roland off with John and went to Reginas apartment. Most of her things were in boxes accept for some photos that she wanted to pack last. Robin brought some boxes down to the moving truck while Regina's put the photos in boxes. She looked around at how empty her apartment looked, she was going to miss living there. She walked around her room and just reminisced on the memories, from when she met her friends and got her job. It made her sad that she was leaving everything behind.
Robin walked in behind her and rapped his arms around her and said," I know, but we will make more memories." She smiled and leaned her head back on his chest.
Then she put her hands on top of his, she loved how she knew exactly what she was thinking. She thought about how she and Robin would be happy together, and the to me they were going to have with Roland in there pent house. Then it was time to finally leave her apartment for good. She took a deep breath and walked out with Robin. They were going Maryland in 3 days.
-- Three days later --
Regina woke up extra early today they were supposed to go to Maryland with Robins parents and the plane left at 11am. She knew that it took an hour to get to the airport and it took a half hour to get through baggage claim. It was going to be especially crouded because it was Saturday. She also knew that it would take Robin and Roland a while to get ready so she wanted to get up at 7 am. She woke up Robin after she was dressed, share told him to get dressed while she went and got Roland ready. They were all dressed and ready to leave by 8. So they got in the case and drove to the airport. Regina held Roland close because she didn't want to loose him in all of the people. Robin had there bags and they got on the plane with a half hour to spare. Roland complained a little but he was fine after a while.
Regina let Roland sit by the window so he could see outside and Robin sat in thew aisle, leaving Regina in the middle which she didn't mind, because she was in between her fiance and her son. Roland had fallen asleep during the first half of the flight and Robin stayed up eve though he was exhausted, he held onto regians hand when she went to sleep. It made her feel like she was completely safe with him. The plane ride was 5 hours long, and Roland talked his portion of the flight, he just went on and on about the sky and the colors and how he couldn't see any people. After about 20 minutes of his talking Robin tried to tell him to be quiet, but Regina told Robin to let Roland talk its going to wear him out later. The plane landed at about 4 pm. Robins parents were waiting for them right beside baggage claim.
"Regina take Roland to the car I'll get the bags," Robin said to her before kissing her.
"No, its okay I'll get them and you go talk to your parents when you put him in the car," She smiled.
"I don't think you should, they are pretty heavy. I got them." With that he left to go get them.
As soon as Roland saw his grandfather his face lit up and he ran to him, giving him the biggest hug. Regina didn't say anything she just stood there not wanting to interrupt the moment. The man looked up at Regina.
"You must be Regina, Robin has told me a lot about you,"he said putting his hand out for me to shake.
"I am, and you must be Kenny, Robins father," she says returning the gesture. He glances down at my hand and notices my engagement ring, then he raises an eyebrow. She is gladly saved by Robin telling them that the bags were in the car and everything is ready to go.
They all get in the car and head to Robins parents house. Roland was asleep so she carried him to bed then went to bed herself, when she came out of the bathroom to get into bed she saw robin come in. He had this look of lust in his eyes. He walked towards her slowly, and grabbed her waist and pulled her close.
"You didn't tell them," she said with with her hands on his chest keeping space between them.
"Tell who what?" He said a bit confused.
"You didnt tell your parents that we are engaged," she said stepping back a little.
"Well, I figured we could tell them together in person," he said, but also lied. It had slipped his mind.
She smiled and got into bed, he laid down behind her and rapped his arms around her she felt his warmth all over her body, it soothed her. She drifted to sleep I his arms, with a smile on her face.
