Always and Forever

Chapter 10

At about 3:00 am Regina was woken up by the pitter patter of Roland's feet, she was a very light sleeper. She looks over to the door and saw him peeking his head inside the door. He walks over in his superman pajamas and spiderman slippers and reaches at her signaling her to pick him up. She picks him up and sits him on her lap.

"What's wrong sweety?" She whispers not wanting to wake Robin.

"Mommy I had a scary dream, can I stay here with you and Daddy?" he says as he tucked his head in her chest.

Smiled knowing he still called her Mommy,"Of course," she said laying down and letting him snuggle up to her.

- 7:00 A.M. -

Robin had woken up only to see Regina and Roland snuggled up together. She had woken up with his move movement, and was careful not to wake Roland. She slowly moved her arm from under him and turned around to face Robin.

"Good morning love," Robin said before kissing her.

Good morning," she smiled, he turns his eyes towards Roland," Oh, he said he had a bad dream so I let him stay in here."

"Regina you can't cater to his every need, your spoiling him,"

"So," Robin laughed at her response, and started to get up so he could go make breakfast. "Where are you going?"

"To go make breakfast," he said sitting down on the bed knowing she had something to say to his answer.

"I can make it," she said pulling him back on the bed and once she did Roland had woken up. "I mean I will make it," she said turning around to see Roland.

Robin came around the bed to be on the other side. He picked Roland up from Regina's arms and started to take him into his room so Roland could get dress. Regina shot him a glare, "what? If you get breakfast, I get him." Robin said with a chuckle, taking Roland out of the rooms. Regina had quickly gotten dressed and made breakfast. By the time she was finished Robin and Roland had come out and were dressed. She didn't notice them at first, so Robin came behind her and wrapped his arms around her, making her jump.

She turns around in his arms and puts syrup that was on her finger on his nose. Then Roland comes and squeezes in between them, reaching his arms up to his father asking to pick him up, which Robin agrees. They stand there in silence just looking at each other, the picture of a family, until Roland wanted to eat already. So they all went to eat at the table, waffles and bacon. After they all ate Roland had syrup all over his face and so Regina took him into the bathroom so she could clean his face, while Robin did the dishes. When Regina came out with Roland Robin was putting on his jacket.

"Where are you going?" She asked as Roland tugged on her leg, trying to get her attention.

"Well I thought we could all go to the park today, what do you think?"

"I think that would great, how about you Roland would you like to go to the park?" She said picking him up.

"Yes! Can we go now!" The little boy said running to go get his shoes. Regina and Robin laughed and Regina went to go get her black flats, she wasn't much of a sneaker girl.

When they got to the park Roland was much more interested in playing with 'Gina' than with Robin so he just watched and admired the fact the Regina could be his wife and Roland's mother. Roland already saw her as his mother so if they did get married it wouldn't change much. The only thing a stopping him from asking her was the fact that she didn't like to move fast, he just wanted to here one thing from her. He also knew that if he did ask her to marry him, she wouldn't want a lot of attention. So he knew that he wouldn't do it in public. She wasn't very emotional either so he thought that if was going to do it he wouldn't make a big speach, it would be quick and easy.
