Hyunjin followed the GPS on his iPhone that Yeji had sent him. It was dark. Hyunjin needed to get home, but right now, that wasn't a option.

It was a pretty long walk, Hyunjin was exhausted, but he knew he had to do this. This Dokkaebi, seem to know everything. Maybe Hyunjin can rely on this Dokkaebi, but at the same time vowed not to get invoked with these creatures.

Hyunjin basically left the city to a smaller countryside of the outskirts of Seoul. Seeing a smaller schools a couple of shops and and houses.

"You have arrived at your destination."

Hyunjin clicked his phone shut into his school pocket, and observed the surroundings.

Wow.

Chan stood out his door, his arms crossed. Holding his breath for about 7 minutes. Waiting for the door to open, when it did, he was about to enter his room but instead it was his sixteen year old neighbor, Lily had walk in the shared apartment with a bright, beaming smile.

"Hi, Oppa!" She smiled.

"Hi!" He said in English with his Australian accent. Coming over to ruffle her short hair which was currently out with two small space buns, it was a cute hair-due. Chan had to admit.

"How was debating, did you win?"

"Yes! My school won!" She smiled brightly." She replied in English, she was also smart young Korean-Australian girl who came over to Korea for her education before returning back to Australia. Because of his, Chan had a father-sister relationship with her. It felt good to know he had another Australian with him.

"Did you get any costumers?" Lily knew he was a Dokkaebi and she was fine with that, herself, she was obsessed with Korean folklore. She knew lots, but not as much as Chan and wiser, older ones.

"I'm getting one now, he's a bit late, and I don't want you being seen by him.  Y'know so off you go." Chan gave a soft, friendly push on her back, indicating for her to go. She giggled.

"I understand, of course, Oppa."

Lily and Chan went their directions.

_____

An apartment, with four rooms. It was small, cheap, making Hyunjin think that this was a scammer that Yeji trusted. But Hyunjin didn't care he needed whatever this Dokkaebi could help him with, if it was lie, the Dokkaebi was dead. The door in the corner had slammed closed as Hyunjin trot up the stairs.

Hyunjin quietly opened the door, which was see-through,  he walked up the stairs to see two rooms in this section, with one joint bathroom. Damn, this Dokkaebi is probably poor and lies. Why would Yeji trust this guy?

He saw a sign that said "Talisman" and "Shaman" Hyunjin took a deep breath and knocked twice on the door.

The door opening automatically, with the creaking noises. Hyunjin itched his ears, he hated that sound. It was not only disturbing but also an annoying noise to the ears.

"Eosowa." A man's voice echoed, monotonously.

"Annyeong." Hyunjin bowed, before analyzing the room. It  was super similar to Yeji's but even smaller and had a TV, Kitchen, bed with a laptop. A office with a bedroom. Cool.

"You're not a Dokkaebi..."

"Why? Because I'm not hairy or bigger like the ones in the books? Haven't you ever heard of Chonggak kind, I think you forgot about other Dokkaebi's kind? Like Gaksi."

Hyunjin could tell he obviously seem offended.

"I'm sorry."

Hyunjin was going into depth on what happened to him just to get the bujeok or ritual he needed for himself. But the Dokkaebi silenced him.

"Yeji, the shaman, she texted me, no worries. I know what happened. I am so sorry you went through that." The Dokkaebi sounded genuine.  Hyunjin never in his life heard about a kind, sweet hearten Dokkaebi, he was wearing a black hoodie so his face was covered but all he sense was guilt and kindness in the others aura.

The other scrambled through his drawers, before levitating in the air to get a flag. And handing over to Hyunjin.

"What will this do?" Hyunjin made eye contact with the covered face.

"It'll absorb you bead back into you." He gave an empty smile.

"Thank you."

"A Gumiho that has manners, wow. Thank you."

Hyunjin let out a small chuckle at that.

"Have you ever done a deal with..."

"I am sorry, I can't give out any information about my customers."

Hyunjin came forwards and whispered his sire's name in the others covered ear.

"Your father? Oh yes, he brings me great money. I'm sure you'll do the same. I don't usually do this with Gumiho's because of they did in the past... but your human side is showing, so I'll allow it."

There we go, now he was acting like a real Dokkaebi, teasing and tricking.

Hyunjin scoffed. "Yeah, alright." Hyunjin mumbled under his breath.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Do what?"

"The deal, you know some thing bad happens every time you do a deal with me, or any Dokkaebi."

Hyunjin just laughed. "I don't believe that. Parents say that so their kids don't do druggies. You won't do anything."

The other boy's shoulder lowered. Realizing hes not going to win this.

"You also might what to keep out on that boy."

Hyunjin spun around, clicking his tongue. "What boy?"

"Han Jisung."

"How do you know this? Don't get into my personal life please." Hyunjin had anger but covered it up.

And Hyunjin left without a word.

"May the saints protect him. He should of have ever of gone into the woods." Chan jumped onto his bed, digging his hands into his face. He knew all of this and he hated it. It was so sad what happened to his last and long ago clients, death, trauma.

That boy was so young. Hyunjin didn't want anything to happen to him even if he was a filthy creature just like him who both deserved to go down into the afterlife.

_____

Hyunjin made this way home around 1:30am.

Hyunjin used his telekinesis to fold the talisman and place it away in a secure place where his ruler couldn't find it and have another long ass lecture about why he shouldn't, actually... couldn't contact any shamans.

Hyunjin kicked off his sneakers and hopped onto the couch, turning on the large 80 inch TV, he was going to watch a unfinished K-drama called 'Law School.' only to see the news and Yeji being carried by paramedics into into a ambulance.

Hyunjin shook his head to see if his vision was right or if he was tried. No, it was Yeji, covered in blood, bruises and scratches.

Hyunjin's was fully alert now, and swooped off his feet, clenching his hands, death staring into the TV.

Hyunjin never thought he was going to say this, the Dokkaebi was right. Stuff like this happened, why did he listen to Yeji, did she know this was going to happen to her?! Hyunjin panicked.

'Seonbae, I'll be taking the bus today so please don't come back I won't be here.' Hyunjin nodded and she locked the store shut.

'Oh my fucking god.' Hyunjin thought, he turned off the TV, shoved his shoes one and slammed the door ignoring the shout from his ruler.
