Hyunjin stared at the dead body, emotionlessly.
He kicked the limp body.
it was dead.
Hyunjin brushed his hair back and looked at the moon. "I'm sorry." he felt the tears, but they didn't flow.
With a deep breath, Hyunjin started to walk out of the woods, sending Yeji a text message that he had completed it. Yeji replied with a thumbs up. He was done, no more killing.
Hyunjin slipped the phone in his pocket and took a step into the hiking path, going further and further away from the soulless body. Hyunjin felt good, the energy felt good, he enjoyed it, even though he hated it, he hated every single thing about it, but he needed to survive. He didn't want to die.
Completely unaware.
Then a shadow appeared. Hyunjin stepped back. It was tall and was wide. It made Hyunjin flinched at the slightest movement of the shadow.
It came closer and closer, and Hyunjin walked backwards slowly, not letting his guard down.
The shadow appeared from the mist.It was animal, small one.
It was cat.
"Oh?" Hyunjin smiled, it was an abandon animal. He bopped down, to see a ripped leash on the poor cat. "Oh, you poor thing." Hyunjin stroked its fur. "Where is your owner?" Hyunjin teased it. "Kkami would have eaten you by now, if he was here." The cat hissed, Hyunjin let his hand go. "I'm just joking! I'm just joking!" Hyunjin falsely laughed. "Did a little boy let go of his leash because he was distracted by a butterfly?" Hyunjin cooed, stroking under the cat's mouth.
The cat hissed. Not liking this fool at all.
"I'll be on my way, maybe I'll bring tuna next time, if you're here obviously." Hyunjin winked, and he left the cat and walked the opposite way. The cat meowed loudly and chased Hyunjin, attacking the front of his boot.
"Dammit! Get off!" Hyunjin tried pry the animal off, shaking it lightly, he didn't want to hurt it, he loved animals. This went on for hours until the cat was able to rip of the boot completely and ran like its life depended on it.
"Fuckin' hell."
Hyunjin groaned and processed to hop after the animal. "Get back here!"
'Why is this animal so bloody fast?!' Hyunjin thought, as Hyunjin was about to grab the animal tail, a faint voice appeared, it must have belonged to a young boy around his age.
"Doongie!"
"Fuck." Hyunjin cursed under his breath and hid in bush. He wanted his boot back, that's all he wanted back! He watched as the animal ran into an open area with no trees, surprisingly, but it was still dark and empty.
Hyunjin looked back at the woods, hearing loud footsteps. Then a boy emerges. He couldn't of have been older than himself. He had big round cheeks and big eyes. Hyunjin couldn't see his face fully. But he was wearing a green jumper with a gold logo, Hyunjin knew what school he went to, his whole neighborhood went to school. JYP high school. He watched as the boy scooped up the so-called animal 'Doongie' or whatever it was called.
He watched the boy analyze his boot; he seems terrified. It was kind of cute to him, especially when his cheeks would rise whenever his eyes widen. His brown hair covered it up though. It was annoying, Hyunjin was actually interested in this boy and his cat.
"Oh good. This is exactly what I needed! I'm so glad we went into a dark, terrifying forest to find this!" The schoolboy scolded the cat. Hyunjin giggled, as the smaller boy looked around his surroundings.
