Hyunjin's days slowly became a routine. Usually, he liked order. But this wasn't it. He hated Seoul. Last time when he came to Seoul, as a child, he couldn't handle it. And still, he couldn't. He wouldn't.
Wake up, go to school, answer Jisung's questions, go home, feel depressed. On the weekdays it was the same, but no answering questions instead, asking Yeji questions.
However, it didn't feel right to have a routine with no change especially with bomb right in his heart. It was a reminder that his days were no longer normal. He was in danger.
He cursed; he was bewitched with the Seoul curse. That's how he felt. He needed the Yeowu Guseul back in his system immediately.
He twirled around, taking in the beauty of his school. He realized how different it was to other schools around South Korea he had been too. Most schools in Seoul were rectangular, with a running track and a cafeteria inside the school.
But no this whole school was different. It was U-shaped, at least 4 stories tall filled with classes, club rooms, a staff room, ITC rooms, a nurse room, so many rooms. It was like a home for all these kids, like an orphan center but it was actually a safe, expensive, happy environment. Outside, it had a maze in it, it had so many water fountains, it had a swimming pool, big change room for different sexes. A big gym room, vending machines. It was like a whole as shopping mall.
This was the most expensive school in Seoul, all over South Korea. 'JYP high school.' But another school called 'HYBE' was catching up really quick. Seoul did indeed have splendid education.
Hyunjin stood in the center of the entry to the school.
In the corner of his eye, he saw Jisung sipping on a condense milk box, walking with Felix. Jisung had gave a large friendly wave to Hyunjin, and Felix did the same, but much shyer.
Hyunjin gave a nervous smile and raise his hand slightly before giving an awkward wave. His face uneasy.
Usually, Hyunjin had a skill to ignore everybody at school. Ignoring everybody until they ignored him too. However, the only expectation was Jisung. He would invite him to their bench at school, wave at him in hallways. (Of course, with Minho's glares and Felix simping.) Hyunjin analyzed the bubbly Jisung. He wondered. Was this boy a possible Dokkaebi? The mischievous one? There were different types of Dokkaebi's. Like the Chan boy, who was the Chonggak kind. Jisung had an odd way of always getting in teacher's good side, despite his wickedly, witty tricks.
Hyunjin wondered, was Jiusng the...kind?
The Dokkaebi kind.
Specifically, the Cham kind.
Cham Dokkaebi's were mischievous ones. If Jisung was, he would of sensed Hyunjin's Gumiho area way before, but the problem was that Hyunjin didn't sense any aura from him. Maybe its his personality...?
Hyunjin could never avoid Jisung. He tried and he could. But it was nearly impossible. Jisung would sometimes annoy the living daylights out of him.
Hyunjin had also started to recognized Jisung's small and cute habits. The way his cheeks puffed up whenever he ate, he would hide behind his friends when embarrassed, he would always lay down on the floor somewhere when he could. He also had this odd habit, calling people he liked baby. Although, He'd never had called Hyunjin with that nickname.
He'd hate to admit it, but he was slowly feeling more comfortable around Jisung and his friends. But it was Jisung who he was most comfortable around. A little too comfortable for his liking.
Hyunjin needed to stop thinking about this boy.
It was currently, afterschool. five o'clock. School would close for the students in one hour and 30 minutes. But Hyunjin stood at the gates, in deep thought. Students either coming in for their club activities, or coming out completing their activities.
