Sleep was great, like always. Just probably like three hours. Just great. I was just going to move out of the bag when I heard footsteps approaching. I scurried into the back pocket which is filled with cotton balls and other things that would stop me from being crushed in such a feeble body.
"Hey, look somebody left their bag here," a male-like voice said as the bag was lifted up.
"Ella I. Nice name for a kid," the same voice announced to who of may been his friend.
"That doesn't explain what a school bag is doing out here in the wild," his friend questioned as rustles were heard from the bush.
"HOLY SHI-" the man was cut off by a scream.I waited a bit. Then a bit longer. Then I crawled out of the bag.
"A cockroach? Never seen a non-mutated one," somebody inquired as they picked me up. I was defenseless but now I have a higher chance of dying which is something that we all look forward to. The person snorted, "I know you aren't an actual cockroach." They put me down and I scurried back into the bag.
"Aye, don't be a coward, get ur stupid ass out here," the person snarled. I switched out my hand and held up a fist with the middle finger pointing out that poked out of the bag.
"Bitch if you want to insult me do it verbally, I'm fucking blind," the person barked at me as I poked my head out and bringing back my cockroach leg. I faced the person. She was squatting down looking directly at my bag and her eyes were in fact foggy and white. She had a frown on her face and wolf ears and a wolf tail. Wolf abnormality, that's nice. I crawled out of the bag and switched back to my base form.
"Hhhhmph, I thought you would be older than an eleven year old proposing you are living out in the wild. Well anyways you're in my territory," the wolf girl snarled at me and I just grabbed my bag and held it up to my chest.
"But," she barked, "you are a child and murdering innocents aren't really my thing so you can stay." I let a mental sigh of relief.
"Kill her," the same raspy voice snarled in my head. Why can't the voice just shut up already? I looked down at her hands and they were all bloody as if she had murdered somebody. I pointed to the hands use my right arm while slinging the bag over my shoulder with my left.
"Oh? The blood? Well the humans didn't deserve to live, they were after all grown men with hunting rifles. I just gave them a little challenge, to bad they were to weak," the wolf girl shrugged. She held out her cleanest hand, that was covered in fur so I could basically call that a paw with claws pointing outwards, and smiled. "Freya, you?"
"E-Ella," I stuttered as I shook her paw. Gosh I haven't spoken English in a long time.
