Chapter twenty

Mia knew how things had been with her and Tom and how hard that she was trying to make it work but it wasn't easy. Mia lay in bed and rested a hand on her bump and smiled

Mia knew how well that things were going with her and Tom and she knew that their relationship was far from perfect but they were both trying to do what was best and be better. Mia knew that she was grateful for that. She knew that the last thing that she wanted was to loose Tom

"Are you okay" Tom asked as he looked to Mia as he stood in the doorway. Mia looked to him and smiled as she sat up in bed

"I'm okay. I was just thinking over us and how much that I want us to make it work and I am grateful of how hard that you are trying to make it work" she said as he looked to her and smiled

He walked over to her as she stood from the bed and smiled as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled

"I know none of it has been easy but it will be okay. We will make it work. We have been toxic in the past but I love you and I love this baby and it's all that matters to me" he said as mia looked to him and smiled as she leant in and kissed him and smiled

"I love you too" she said as he smiled. Mia knew that it hadn't been easy but she knew just how determined that she was to make it work with them and she knew it wasn't easy at all but she wanted to try and make it work with them

She knew how far that they had come

Mia got to work and stood in the staffroom and looked to see esme and smiled "hey how are you doing" Esme asked as mia looked to her and smiled

"I'm good. I know how things haven't been easy but I'm good. I am in a good place and I am happy. Tom and I are better than we have been in our whole relationship we're getting married and we're having a baby and it just all seems to be falling into place". Mia said as Esme looked to her and smiled

"I'm glad I'm happy for you"

"How is it going with max" Mia asked as Esme sighed

"I don't know. He wants more and I don't know. I don't know if I am ready for it there's a different in the fake relationship and the real one" Esme said as mia smiled

"It will be okay. You will handle it" Mia said

Mia walked into toms classroom as he looked to her and smiled "are you okay" he asked as she smiled

"I brought you a coffee. Are you okay" she asked as he smiled

"I'm okay. No need to worry" he said as she smiled.

He pulled her to him so that she was sitting on his lap and smiled

"We're going to be okay i promise I know things aren't easy but it will all be okay" he said as she smiled

Mia knew how she was soon to be having their baby but would everything change?
