April Patrick (P.O.V)

I sat staring outside the window of the house that everyone had built for me. The griffins had brought cribs that they used for their children for me to use for mine. Amy and Melody were soundly sleeping, but I couldn't sleep. What happened earlier was haunting me even in my dreams. I closed my eyes and pressed my forehead against the window.

We approached the wall and spotted Luke looking out from it. Timothy growled in anger, along with Fawn, and Jason, but none moved. I crossed my arms and looked up at him. I let him have the time to realize it was me, but he just stared at us without saying a word.

"Luke, we need to talk. Care to join me down here?" I asked him.

"I'm fine right where I am, April." Luke finally spoke.

"Luke, what you are doing is wrong. I didn't leave you in charge so you could do this to our people. The witches are not our friends. Do you not remember what they did to you? Have they erased your memories?" I asked him.

"Don't give me that holier than thou crap, April! You're just as bad as the witches, if not worse! You killed Zack and then me after letting Arthur, Logan, James, and Alex die in front of us! Do not act like you're any better than the witches who brought us back after you!" Luke yelled at me.

"I'm not claiming to be better than the witches Luke. I just want you to stop this and give Arilis back. I'll let you leave with your life and the information you might want. But right now, you don't get the information and you need to hand over Sandra and Lily." I said, trying to keep my temper.

I could feel the anger building in my veins, but I knew if I did something now, it would risk their lives. Luke was laughing now and as he laughed Becky climbed onto the wall. She looked at us and gave us that sadistic grin of hers. I fought back a growl as her eyes focused on me.

"Oh, well look what the drowned tiger brought in," Becky spoke as she crossed her arms.

"Shut it, Becky." I snapped. "This is a husband and wife conversation. Not a conversation for the witches to eavesdrop on."

"Luke, look at her very closely. You can sense it right?" Becky asked as she gestured to me.

My anger faded and fear began to spread through me. What if he found out? What if he learned that he was a father? I took a hesitant step back as Luke stared at me. After a few minutes, his face shifted to one of shock as he stared at me.

"I have children? You left and had our children, but never told me?" Luke asked.

I watched as his shocked look changed between joy and then anger. I could tell this was getting dangerous, but I knew Alex wanted Lily and his children back as well as Valencia wanting her sister back. I grimaced and decided to take a deep breath to calm down.

"Why should I have told the father who took over and decided to attack the werewolves and force Alex to kill Lady Augusta's children? Especially after knowing I worked hard to form a friendship with her?" I spoke.

"I killed Lily. I watched as she screamed for Alex for hours and then slit her throat. She's gone. Your precious Alexander, Robert, Mabel, and Mary are mine to control now. I will come for my children; You will not be there to stop me." Luke growled as he nodded to Becky.

Before I knew it, Jason was in front of me, and we fell backward. My head was ringing, and I felt dizzy, but I quickly pieced together what happened. Luke had officially declared me his enemy and let Becky try to kill me.
