Roughly four months had passed since my daughters had been kidnapped. Nothing substantial had happened aside from making our way to Miami, Florida and waiting patiently for the ship to arrive. We had gotten onto the ship roughly two months ago and I had decided to stay on the upper deck. Mark and Caleb had tried to get me to go down below with them, but I refused each time.

Alex, Jaydin, and Ragna had decided to stay back at the house, having little reason to go to Alina Island. Ragna was worried Kevin would call her out as a traitor and Alex knew everyone there pretty much viewed him as a traitor still because of everything Luke had him do. Jaydin didn't feel like going because Ragna and Alex didn't want to go. The three of them had become an inseparable group and it was nice to see Alex had true friends who stood by his side regardless of what happened and what others said about him.

As we approached the island, the hurricane griffins came down and landed on the deck. Lady Augusta was leading them and as she landed, she looked directly at me. She dipped her head to me before crossing her arms.

"April, welcome back to Alina Island. You do know you are banished under Kevin's word, correct? Coming here is a direct defiance of what he said, and we could technically attack you if we deemed it worth it." Lady Augusta warned.

"Lady Augusta, I have no such intentions of fighting your people or fighting for my spot back. I'm simply here to get as much information I can about what happened to my daughters and perhaps gather people to help me before striking East to Europe to hunt down vampire council members who could know where my daughters and my father are at." I spoke with my own arms crossed.

"You're going to Europe? Why?" Lady Augusta asked with a wary look.

"The vampire council members who live there. I plan to get the information I seek from them and to kill them." I spoke as I stared at Lady Augusta.

I felt my projection magic flicker and watched as Lady Augusta flinched back, staring at me with wide eyes. She glanced back at her people and then looked at me with a slightly terrified look.

"April, where did you get the saber tooth form of yours?" Lady Augusta asked.

"How did you know I had a new tiger form?" I asked her.

"It just showed itself." Lady Augusta said as she glanced at her people who nodded in agreement.

I stared at them for a few minutes before frowning. Lady Augusta's people must be agreeing with her simply because she is their leader. It would be impossible for my tiger form to reveal itself. I'd have to reveal it and I didn't turn into my tiger form.

"April, I need you to come to Culada with me. I'm going to read you one of our earliest books." Lady Augusta spoke.

I sighed and shook my head. I had places to be, and Lady Augusta wanted to go give me a history lesson. I had a small amount of time to gather people who would be willing to help and get to Europe. I had no time for a history lesson unless she followed me and told me about her history.

"I can't go to Culada. You can either tell me while we go to Arilis or not at all. I don't have the time to divert my attention to history lessons over getting my daughters back." I stated as I looked towards the Bay of the Fallen.

"Fine." Lady Augusta spoke with an annoyed tone.

I turned to look at the stairs below as Caleb and Mark came up to the top. Caleb glanced at the griffins warily and then looked at me. Mark walked over to me and kept his hand over his sword, looking at the griffins warily.

"Lady Augusta and her griffins are fine, Caleb and Mark." I said as I glanced at them.

Caleb sighed and nodded as he looked at Mark. Mark frowned and slowly moved his hand away from the sword. Lady Augusta nodded, looking pleased that Caleb and Mark listened to me. She motioned to two of her griffin companions who stepped forward.
