As my eyes opened, I heard a shout and footsteps running towards me. My vision was hazy, but I could remember what May had done to me. The human life I had lived in the short two days I had been out.

With a groan, I sat up, but I was immediately forced to lay back down by someone. I reached out and grabbed the person's shirt collar. I yanked them down towards my face with a scowl as I tried to see who had just forced me to lay back down.

"I don't need you to force me to stay laying down. I'm fine. My soul is back in its proper place. I'm not dead." I snapped as I pushed them away and sat up.

I rubbed at my eyes and blinked a few times until my vision cleared up. I was in the living room. Caleb was asleep sitting against the couch and Cole was standing there with his hands raised up in defense.

The living room was mainly made up of three couches surrounding a single table with bookshelves full of human books and pictures hanging on the walls of various different scenes. There was of course a small brick fireplace shielded by chicken wire and a sliding sturdy glass. On the mantle of the fireplace was the tv that hung and was currently on. Surprisingly, the tv was playing an old episode of some drama tv show.

"Wow. I didn't realize you'd be so cranky after sleeping a full forty-eight hours." Cole stated before moving my legs out of his way and plopping on the seat beside me.

"What are you doing here, Cole?" I asked him.

The last time we had seen Cole, we had gone our separate ways. He had gone to explore in search of the other packs and try to gain any werewolf to his numbers to protect this house. I rolled my eyes and leaned against the arm of the couch, finding myself playing with a strand of Caleb's blonde hair.

"We found werewolves to protect the house and all who live on its property. We're setting up houses out there, but most are currently housed in the house while the houses are being built or sleeping in the woods in their wolf forms. We have members from nearly every inch of the Northern American packs either here or arriving in a few days. It was hard to convince the Yellowstone Pack to come all the way down here on the opposite side of the country from them though." Cole spoke as he scratched the back of his head.

I barely heard footsteps before someone was hugging me from behind. I turned to look to find Kane was hugging me. My eyes widened in shock. When was this man a hugger? He released me from the hug and sighed as he made me move my legs again and sat beside Cole and me.

"Caleb and Mark were freaking out. You're lucky they contacted us, and we just so happened to be with Cole and his pals at the time." Kane said before ruffling my hair.

A small groan caught our attention and I watched Caleb begin to wake up. I smiled and moved so I could lean over his head. I watched him open his golden eyes and stare at me with sleepiness in his eyes. I chuckled as he realized he was staring at me. He looked so shocked as it was. I realized just how much I missed Caleb in the dreamworld May forced me into. Without bothering to wait for the shock of finding me awake watching him wake up to ware off, I leaned over a little more and kissed him. I could feel Kane was trying to keep me from falling off the couch and onto Caleb.

As I pulled away from the kiss to get back on the couch completely, Caleb turned. His face turned as red as a tomato as he realized I had kissed him in front of others. I began to laugh, but a person clearing their throat behind me caused me to stop. There was this sudden tension in the room and without needing to look behind me, I knew who was standing behind the couch.

"Since when were you two together?" Mark asked, the soft tapping of a shoe telling me he was trying to keep his patience.

"W-We're-" Caleb tried to say, looking troubled.
