𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐖𝐎 - 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆

residing in her living room was sarah fox, sipping her usual morning coffee and watching the news when she heard the devastating news.

her two friends, hannah price and scott becker, had been involved in a fatal stabbing. sarah felt the way her heart shrunk in her chest as she listened to the news reporter, her mind racing with disbelief and sorrow.

hannah and scott had been close friends of sarah's for years. the both of them were popular and were the only ones that stayed in touch with her after she was banished from hanging around that group.

they had been through thick and thin together, sharing countless memories and going through stages of life together. sarah couldn't believe that they were gone, and that she would never be able to see their faces or hear their voices again.

as sarah tried to process the news, tears streamed down her hot cheeks. she felt a deep sense of loss and emptiness, as if a small part of her had been ripped away. the laughter and joy they had shared and the support they had given each other will never be forgotten.

in that moment, sarah realised how much the two meant to her. she knew that she would never forget them, and that their memory would live on in her heart forever. though they were gone, their friendship will always be a part of her life that nobody can take away. they would always be with her in spirit.

why did she have to wake up to a world that felt entirely different. she had barely slept, and this was so unexpected. she was dreading the moment where she would have to face the reality of her friends' death.

as she got ready for school, sarah's eyes were heavy with the ghost of her tears. she struggled to focus on the mundane tasks of brushing her teeth, washing her face, and getting dressed. her thoughts kept drifting back to the news reporters gruesome words.

on the way to school, sarah felt a sense of detachment from the world around her. the streets and buildings that had once seemed familiar now felt foreign and distant. she tried to keep herself composed, but the weight of her grief was almost unbearable.

when she arrived at school, sarah felt a wave of anxiety wash over her. how was she supposed to face her classmates, knowing that they had also lost two of their own? but as she walked through the halls, she could sense the somber mood that settled over the school. everyone seemed to be moving through the day in a daze, trying to make sense of the tragedy that had befallen them.

she eagerly looked forward to meeting up with her closest friends though, she hoped they would be able to cure the melancholic atmosphere around her. she spotted erica jones, ethan morgan, benny weir, and rory keaner waiting for her by their usual meeting spot, the fountain outside the school.

"hey guys!" sarah exclaimed as she approached them, a big grin plastered onto her face, trying to hide how she really feels.

"hey sarah," erica spoke, her eyes casting downwards, filled with sadness. shit, they already knew.

the group gathered together, beginning to talk about the passing of their friends, and how much it had affected them all.

sarah felt her gut twist and turn with guilt as she listened to their stories of grief and sadness, she felt selfish for only thinking about her own feelings this morning. her heart ached whilst she felt helpless trying to comfort her friends.
