𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 - 𝐑𝐄𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆her eyes fluttering open, sarah stretched out her body to prepare her for the day ahead. leaning up, she craned her neck to check the people surrounding her, noticing only one person is awake.
turning his head to face her, benny gave a smile before he got back to whatever he was doing. she had a weird feeling in her stomach, she needed some air. so yet again, she climbed over erica, ensuring not to wake her, and made her way downstairs.
close behind, bennys footsteps followed her, before striking a conversation, "so" he drawled "where you going?" the question followed. "i'm going to get some fresh air, i feel like utter shit. where are you going?" sarah replied, adding emphasis.
"gonna get a drink and switch on TV, super bored." he gave her another smile before diverting at the junction between the front door and kitchen.
swinging open the front door, she stepped out into the sunlight and let the morning air wash over her. she already started to feel better as she closed her eyes and allowed her mind to drift off, this was the most peaceful moment she has had in days.
but of course, peace is never allowed round here anymore.
"sarah! come here quick!" a shriek came from benny, causing her to sprint over to the couch. the newswoman, lucia sunking, was presenting further details about the attacks.
"it seems that just last night, a young woman by the name of stephanie leeder, was killed in similar ways to the other three victims. there have yet to be any official statements on the murder but assumptions are already surfacing. is their a serial killer in the small town of whitechapel? it could be so" with a dishonest upset expression, it changed back to the weather.
"another death?" erica said whilst the other two traipsed behind her into the room.
"yeah, it's stephanie. you know...the one from our school, the very bitchy one." benny muttered the last part. "maybe don't speak ill of the dead, could come back to bite you" erica warned, putting her hands up in a surrendering gesture when benny glared at her.
"i mean, he's only speaking the truth, i have said it to her face a few times. it's weird to think i was her once upon a time, probably why i resent her so much" sarah shrugged her shoulders.
"yeah, benny is right. stephane was a huge bitch. one time she said that i should join the cheerleading squad because i have the 'body type' for it" ethan scoffed as he reminisced, still feeling pretty salty about it.
"that's rough" sarah had to use all her mite to hold back a giggle on that one. "all she said to me was that i am a sheep and i follow erica around...but there was really no need was there." she rolled her eyes.
"yeah well, she called me a fag so! i win" he chuckled to mask the pain he was feeling as that comment still stung. it was only said a couple weeks ago and she had to go and say it infront of everyone.
"oh yeah i remember that, it was pretty fu-" erica started but managed to stop herself when she saw everyones expressions "bitchy. pretty bitchy." erica's lucky she saved herself there.
"well funnily enough, us three have all just given a motive to want her dead. and me and sarah got chased down by the killer sooo..." ethan's head slowly turned towards the only other one who gave out a motive
