"Euphemia?" She opened her eyes at the voice, last night's images slowly coming back to her. She took in her surroundings, blushing furiously when she realized she had been lying next to Draco. In a bloody nightgown. "Loly came to wake us up. She had left some clothes for you to change into."

"Thanks...um...good morning." She said awkwardly, getting up and eyeing the clothes that were left on the drawer. The elf brought them here? "She must be confused." she giggled. "I went to sleep in the guest room and woke up in yours." Suddenly realization hit her, making her throw the covers away and get up to stand next to the bed. "I woke up in your room! Your mom will kill me! Draco," she looked at the relaxed form he was watching her in pure amusement. "get up! What are we going to tell your mom? She took me in and I cannot explain why I was there this morning!"

"We'll say nothing." She gave her a 'What the hell?' look so he continued, jumping out of the bed as well. He went to open his wardrobe to pick out some clothes. "She won't make a comment."

"How can you be so sure?" She grabbed 'her' clothes, holding them close to her chest.

"She knows when not to talk." was all he said before he slipped into the bathroom to change. Mia was confused but decided to let that go for now. She would ask what he meant later but for now, she left his room to change in her guest room. She put the clothes on the bed taking a look at them for the first time. They seemed to be new and expensive. The fabric was almost as luxurious as her yule ball dress which she paid a lot for. She guessed that the Malfoys had more money than she would think so in the first place.

She didn't know if the color choice was intentional but she smiled at the theme. Green. She knew she looked good in it as a perk of being red-headed. So she did not complain at all. She put on the black skirt with the dark green lacy blouse. There were black tights with green sneakers so she put them on too. She was actually surprised that they fit perfectly but assumed that Loly took her size from her dress. She walked into the bathroom, brushed her teeth and then combed her hair to make it somewhat pleasant. She made a half-up half-down style with a cute bun at the top. Once satisfied she decided to go down to thank Narcissa for everything.

She wasn't surprised to see a breakfast table ready with Narcissa already sitting down next to Draco. He smiled lightly at her but she could make out that something wasn't right. Her own smile froze on her face as she felt someone enter the room behind her. She turned around to see who it was. Lucius Malfoy. He wore black robes, carrying his staff with high shoulders and an icy glare. She stood where she was not knowing what to do. She had never been alone with so dangerous people. Sure she had gone through pretty bad situations with her twin but none of them felt as dark as the aura in this room.

"I hope you were not harmed, Miss Potter," Lucius commented with a hint of a smile. It sent shivers down her spine but she managed to keep her strong façade up. She interlocked her hands before her to keep them from trembling. She made sure she could still feel her wand, she could pull it out to defend herself at any given moment.

"No, sir," she replied kindly and went to sit down as Lucius pointed to a chair with his wand. "I owe it to your son. He saved me from being crushed and took me here when I couldn't remember the way back to my own portkey. I should also thank you for the clothes and for taking me in last night. It was very generous of you to do so."

"No trouble at all, Miss Potter." his eyes found Draco. "Draco has always spoken highly of you."

"He did?" she asked before she could think. She bit on her tongue upon realizing what she did but Lucius didn't seem to mind.

"Yes, eat now," he ordered her. Euphemia was somewhat used to being ordered out by people as a perk of living with the Dursleys, so she did as he told her without any objections. She made sure to stay alert during the whole meal. She was so tense that she jumped when a letter was dropped down on her plate. She didn't even see the owl coming in. She however felt three pairs of eyes on her as she picked it up to see who sent it. Susan Bones. She looked up at Lucius.
