Roll over. Again. Again.

That's so annoying.

She huffed out, sitting up on her bed to look around. She was nervous since she heard that poor excuse of a man would be spending the night at the Manor. She could handle Lucius Malfoy, mainly because she believed he wouldn't murder a guest, but Thomas Avery didn't even try to hide his distaste for her. She couldn't sleep knowing he could sneak into her room to murder her any moment now.

Frankly, she needed her sleep. Tomorrow they would return to Hogwarts and Mia could never sleep during the train ride due to her overworking brain creating conspiracy theories every few seconds. If she didn't sleep this night, she would be a bitch to everyone who dared to say hello to her on the train.

She swung her legs off the bed, fixing the straps of her pajama top and making sure her shorts stayed intact before walking quietly to the door. She looked around once she opened her door, casting a Lumos to see around a bit better. That was one thing she liked about the manor, nobody questioned the magic done there since they were purebloods. She tiptoed to Draco's room, opened the door with great care, and slid inside without a noise.

The room was just as she remembered, the bed was right across her with a small drawer next to it. Draco was on the right side of the bed, his covers around his hips, one of his arms covering his eyes while the other rested on his stomach. He was wearing one of his usual pajama sets made of silk. She put out her light, stepping to the left part of the bed without so much as breathing. If she did a sudden, loud move, Draco would most likely attack her again. The things that the boy did when he was unconscious had a habit of ending with Mia trapped under him.

She put her wand on the drawers, listed the cover lightly, and slid into his bed. Merlin, she would seem like a pervert.

"Yeah, that's right." She jumped due to the sudden voice. One of his hands wrapped around her wrist pulling her towards him as the other went to rest on her waist as he hovered over her. He looked down at her with grey sleepy eyes as she tried to keep her breathing under control. "How come I always find you in my bed? Honestly, doll, you might as well start staying in my room at this point."

Mia blushed furiously, her neck and cheeks giving in to the heat. "I couldn't sleep." She whispered softly, her free hand coming to rest on his toned forearm. Quidditch also did wonders, she decided. "Avery makes me nervous, Dray..." She whined, pushing her head back into the pillow. "you know how bitchy I am when I don't get enough sleep."

He chuckled watching the girl close her eyes, her nose scrunched up at the thought. Merlin, just when he thought she couldn't get more adorable. He dared to lean closer, resting his head on her shoulder. "So my room is your safe space?"

Mia sucked in a breath, deciding to be brave for once. "Your arms are."

His body tensed, his heart skipping a beat at first and then deciding to beat two hundred beats in a minute. He squeezed her waist, lifting his head to look at her face as he let her wrist go. He supported his body with his hand. "You're unusually brave tonight, Euphemia. You're right though, I would never let him, or anyone else, hurt you."

"Why though?" She breathed before she could even think.

"I have my theories." He mumbled before rolling over to his back, pulling Mia with him. The girl was now lying half on the bed and half on him. She put one of her forearms on his chest to support her body as she looked down at his eyes. "The view is nice, wouldn't you say?"

Mia followed his eyes down to her chest. Her blouse was doing an exceptionally good job of revealing her cleavage to him. She thanked Merlin her boobs were out of sight. She was still learning to live with them as they decided to show up only months ago, in summer. Before she could react his hand grabbed the straps pulling the garment up to cover more of her. "You're a pervert, Malfoy."

He tutted, satisfied with his job and using the same hand to push her hair away from her face. "A pervert would try to see more. I'm a proper gentleman."

She snorted, "As if a proper gentleman would have an innocent girl in his bed, cuddling her like a teddy bear."

"Out of all the things I could say about you innocent wouldn't be my first choice." He then sighed. "Why are we like this, Euphemia? Why can I never stay away from you?"

"You tell me, you're the one with theories." She hummed, letting her body fall into his chest hugging him with the same arm that held her body up. "I don't need answers, Draco." She snuggled her face into his neck. "I just need this. Is this okay?"

"That's what I'm afraid." He petted her back, his hand traveling up to her shoulders and then back down to her waist. "This is perfect."

"Good night, Dray."

"Good night, darling."
