A loud laugh echoed in the corridor just outside of the Great Hall, a girl with fiery red hair stumbled out of the gates with a blond boy who carried both their wands in his hand, one of his arms wrapped around her waist in an attempt to keep her uptight. The girl had her arm slouched over his shoulders, her head dropping on his shoulder as she continued laughing. Some lingering students turned to look at them with curious eyes. The boy growled at anybody who spent a second more on them instead of continuing with their own business. "But Siriusly- see what I did Draco?- don't you think it is so funny how Weird Sisters have no actual sisters in the band?"

She tripped over her own feet, the boy catching her just before she was about to meet with the ground. He slowly made her walk towards the stairs as he nodded. "Yes, Euphemia, it's so funny." nothing but desperation was heard in his voice as he looked around for a familiar face, hopefully, a Ravenclaw, with no luck at all. He dropped her body down to the stairs, himself kneeling just a second after her. He noticed some girls were crying on the upper part of the stairs. "I told you not to drink so much, didn't I?" he brushed her hair away from her face. He felt her golden hairpiece come loose, dropping into his palm as he did so. He quickly put it in his pocket.

"But Dray-co, Blaise said it would feel good." He gritted his teeth at the mention of his fellow Slytherin. He had been encouraging both Susan and Mia through the night to drink more, causing both of them to be incredibly drunk not long after they started drinking. He cursed Mia's stubbornness. He was lucky a girl in Hufflepuff, Ablet or something, came to retrieve Susan while he was left to deal with the Ravenclaw girl. He tried to search the ballroom for her brother or Lisa but of course, they were nowhere to be seen.

"Yes, I'll have to murder him later." His eyes caught a girl in a pink dress, her hair was a mess as she sobbed nonstop, tears falling down her cheeks like a fountain. Mia, even in her drunken state, noticed something was wrong. She came across Hermione after following his gaze.

"'Mione!" She pulled herself up with her hands without even getting up. Draco helped her with a hand around her upper arm, watching what she would do next. If he had to be honest he would say he didn't give a damn about Granger but he wanted to see if the girl would be able to take Mia with her to the safety of the Gryffindor tower. "Wh-what happened?" Draco rolled his eyes, she was stumbling over her words.

"Ron spoiled everything!" The muggle-born's voice was cracked due to her crying, she seemed to be in a no better state than Mia. "He said...we were both fraternizing with the enemies! Me with Viktor and you with Malfoy." his heart dropped. He sent a quiet prayer to whoever would listen, they were so lucky Mia didn't hear him say that directly or she would be causing havoc in the ballroom.

Mia let out a sob too, "He is such a..." her words were swallowed by a sob. Draco fell onto his knees before her once more, wondering how many times he would have to do that this night. He had a slight panic rising in his stomach. Why was she crying? "I only wanted to have fun."

"Me too," Granger let out as her head dropped on Mia's shoulder. The Slytherin boy never had to face such a scene in his life before. He was dumbfounded. He realized he made the girls cry quite a bit for various reasons but he wasn't the one to deal with the situation at the end of the day. He conjured two napkins, throwing one to Hermione's lap as he leaned towards Mia's face.

"Euphemia, stop crying." He wiped her tears away. "You don't even have a reason to cry."

Hermione hiccuped, wiping her tears away. "Yes, stop crying, Mia. You have him, I have no one." and a fresh party of tears flooded. Draco barely contained himself from facepalming as Mia hiccuped and shook alongside her friend.

"Merlin, Granger!" he hissed. "Gather yourself, you're making her cry! Eup-please...Granger! If I hear another sob I will hex you! Euphemia, please stop crying." His hand caressed her arm to calm her. "You're okay, Euphemia. Just incredibly drunk."
