"Euphemia," she heard someone call with a heavy Bulgarian accent. She quickly told the girls to continue walking to the village as she turned to look at her newest acquaintance, Viktor Krum. He was walking towards her with big, fast steps, one of his schoolmates trailing along. Her friends Hermione, Susan, and Lisa looked at them confusedly but didn't stop as Mia did.

"Viktor," she responded once he was close enough to hear her without her having to yell. "How have you been? I haven't seen you around." She asked politely. She didn't know if she liked him or didn't feel anything about the boy but she would be open to a possible friendship.

"Yes, I've been good, thanks." He nodded before pointing out his friend with a smile on his face. Mia tried not to raise one of her eyebrows out of instinct. Was he trying to set them up as he told back in the tent? "This is Ivan Petrov, I told you about him, yes? Ivan this is Miss. Euphemia Potter, Harry Potter's sister."

"Very nice meeting you, Miss. Euphemia." She reached her hand out for a handshake but Ivan grabbed it gracefully, turning it around and bowing as he put a featherlight kiss on her knuckles. She, despite all her surprise, offered him a smile. She looked questioningly at Viktor, who seemed to be busying himself with looking anywhere but her to avoid trouble. Dumb Seeker!

"You too," she said to him, pulling her hand back as Ivan didn't seem like he would let it go anytime soon. "You see, I was on my way to Hogsmeade for some shopping with my friends."

The mention of her friends seemed to get Viktor's attention. "For the ball?"

"Yes," she nodded, turning to walk towards the village, knowing very well they would trail along. "Most of us don't have our dress robes yet,"

"Do most of you have dates yet?" Ivan dared to ask, smiling sweetly at her. Mia hated to know that she would have to break his heart. She didn't dare to tell it out but deep down she knew she only wanted to go with someone impossible.

"I personally don't." She shrugged, trying to seem as uninterested as she could. Maybe he would leave her alone when he was how she didn't care about it.

Ivan had other plans, "Vould you like to go vith me?"

Mia turned to face him with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, Ivan. I'm sure you're a great guy but I am actually waiting for someone specific." It wasn't a lie. The fact that he would never ask didn't change her thoughts about the situation. She would wait till she heard he got someone and only then she would allow herself to accept offers.

Ivan seemed disheartened at that as Viktor, again, busied himself with looking around in the direction of the village. "Of course, Miss. Euphemia." he offered her a bow, knowing when to pull back as a gentleman. "I should go back to the ship, are you coming Viktor?"

Viktor shook his head, making Mia actually surprised that he didn't accept his offer. Ivan looked suspiciously between the two of them on his rejection but left without saying anything. Mia watched him walk away before turning to look at the famous seeker. "That wasn't fair, Viktor. You already knew I would refuse."

"Yes," he said as it was as simple as that. He nodded in the direction of the village, telling her to walk with this small gesture. Mia followed along, starting to walk again. "Draco already told him to give up." Mia looked up at this. "He has been telling it to all of us. Ivan is stubborn. He vouldn't let go unless he heard it from you."

Mia nodded, sighing loudly. "There really isn't anything going on with me and Draco. I don't know why he acts like that."

"He acts like that because he knovs you von't accept anyone other than him." Mia froze in her spot, ceasing her walk for a moment as Viktor chuckled. "I don't knov if all Hogvarts are blind but I see the tvo of you."
