"Oh, the movie is over", i said.
Why did i kiss him back?
I'm so stupid for thinking that i could get over Ethan just like that.
"Oh, yeah. We should go", i said.
We picked up our trash and headed outside. We walked back to my house and the whole way there it was quiet and awkward.
We arrived at my house "So, here we are", i said.
"Look, i really like you and i want you to be my girlfriend", he said
"Oh... thanks? But, i still sort of like Ethan and i'm not ready for a relationship right now", i said.
"Oh, i understand. Call me if you change your mind", he said while walking away
I stepped inside my house and walked straight to my room and fell asleep. The next morning i woke up, got ready and went downstairs. When i went down i saw my mom and Ethan sitting on the couch laughing.
"What's going on here?", I asked.
"Oh, honey! Hey, i was just talking to Ethan about you", she said.
"Oh really!?", I said.
"Hey jocelyn", Ethan said.
I awkwardly waved at him.
"So, do you wanna sit down next to me?", He said with a smirk.
I walked over and sat down next to Ethan.
He pulled me in closer and started talking to my mom.
"So, i hear you guys are leaving for Miami in the summer", he said.
Oh yes, and i was wondering, would you like to go with us?", She said.
"Mom, can i speak with you in the kitchen?, I interrupted.
"Oh sure hun", she said.
We walked into the kitchen
"Mom!!", I low whispered
"What?!", She said.
"What is he doing here?", i said.
"I invited him", she said.
"What?! Why?!", I said.
"Well, after you left i called Ethan to tell him why he texted you those hurtful things", she said
"And what did he say?", I said.
"He only said it because he was hurt and vulnerable", she said.
"So he didn't really mean it?", I said relieved.
"No, he loves you", she said
I walked back to the couch and sat next to Ethan.
"I'm sorry i said i lost feelings for you, i was stupid to say that to a girl like you", he said.
"It's fine, but...", I said.
"But..., i want you to be my girlfriend again", he said.
I smiled and kissed him.
"So is that a yes?", He said
"Yeah", i said smiling.
"Oh, isn't that nice", my mom said.
We both laughed and then i kissed Ethan again.
" I never stopped loving you", i whispered in his ear.
He smiled and blushed.
God, he's so cute.
"Would you like to stay over?" , My mom asked.
"Oh sure, but i have to ask my mom for permission first", he said.
He called his mom.
"She said i could stay the night if i wanted to", he said.
"Yeah, you can stay overnight", my mom said.
"Well, i think we should go upstairs", i said.
We walked upstairs and sat on my bed. I got a text from Justin.
Justin: i miss you babe, did you make your decision yet?
"Who texted you?", Ethan said.
"Oh no one", i said while trying to hide my phone under the bed covers.
He took my phone and read the message.
"Wtf is this?!", He said mad.
"I'm sorry, i can explain", i said.
"Why is he calling you babe? And what decision do you have to make", he said sad.
"He asked me out and since I still had feelings for you, i told him that i'll think about it", i said.
"When did he ask you", he said
"Today, right before i stepped into the house", i said.
"Well your mine and you better say no", he said
He got up and went downstairs.
"What are you gonna do?", I said chasing after him.
"I'm going to teach Justin not to mess with us", he said.
