* Jocelyn's POV *

"I love you" i said and left

I ran down the street bawling my eyes out. The only place i could go is Samantha's house (a/n, samantha was from when Jocelyn almost got sold). I passed a couple house until i found hers. It was an average sized house with a one story floor. I banged on the door until someone opened.
"Woah woah woah. What happened?" She said
"E-ethan" i said
"Did you guys break up?" She said furrowing her eyebrows
"Y-yes" i said
Stop crying.
"Come in" she said

I walked in pulling my hair and walking back and forth. I can't stop crying. I ran to the bathroom.

"Aye calm down" she said chasing after me

I was searching for something sharp. Until i found it, a blade.
I cut harshly and blood was pouring down from my wrist.

"Joccy!" She screamed taking the blade from my arm
"What? Just let me die. Everything would be better if i wasn't alive" i screamed

She took my hand and washed out my blood. I immediately felt like crazy and i realized why i had to go to the mental hospital. I was crazy.

"Joccy, calm down"
"I- i can't"
"Lay down" she said guiding me to her room.

I followed her and laid on her bed.

"Okay tell me what happened"

"Okay, so it started when i found out i was going to the mental hospital..."

* Ethan's POV *

I picked up my phone and called Brooke.

"Hello" she said through the phone
"Brooke. I-i need your help. Meet me at the park in 10 minutes"
"Wh-" she said but i hung up

I put my shoes on and ran to the park. I got there and tried to catch my breath. I sat down on the swing and waited for Brooke to show up.

"Ethan. Can you tell me what's wrong?" She said walking towards me
"I just broke up with my girl friend" i said
"Ohh" she said and hugged me
"But... i also had another girlfriend the whole time and she had a boyfriend at the same time as well... it-its complicated"

"So you two were cheating on each other?"
"Yeah i guess"
"Well, are you still with your other girlfriend?"
"Yes, but i don't want to be with her"

I then realized how stupid my relationship with Madison was. God, i hate her.

"Well, break up with her" she said breaking the silence

"I am, but can you come with me?"

"Uhh yeah. lets go"
We got up and started walking to Madison's house and the whole way there we were talking about old memories we had with each other.

"Oh! Remember that time you put dirt into Mrs. Crawbird's food at the 4th grade camping trip?" She said

"Oh yeah! And the the whole time she would sneeze dirt out of her nose" i said

We started laughing our asses off. God, i remember the days where everything was easy. We were one street away from Madison's house.

"Okay. Were almost there" i said
"What do i do?"
"You just stand next to me by the doorbell or something. Dont let her see you thoe"
"Okay"

We reached her house and we walked up to her door.
I rang the doorbell.
