As soon as i got that text i knew i had to do something. I went on my phone and i checked my Instagram, i had all these notifications saying that i was stupid to let go of Ethan.
Wait, how did they know i was dating Ethan? I checked my feed and i saw a picture of me and Ethan kissing at school. I decided to go on Ethan's page, i saw a picture with him and a girl hugging. I read his caption and it said "You're my everything". Wait, that wasn't me and he posted it 3 days ago. We were dating 3 days ago. I turned off my phone and ran downstairs. My mom was there watching a movie
"Honey, what's wrong", she said while standing up.
"It's Ethan he-he bro-broke up with and he wa-was cheating on me", i said.
"Oh sweetie", she said while hugging me.
I kept on crying until i got a text.
Ethan: So, you found out i was cheating on you?
I looked at my phone and showed it to my mom.
"Ohh, honey", she said, "but how did he find out?"
"I don't know, that's weird", i said.
"Answer him, that's the only way you'll find out", she said.
"Okay", i said.
Me: how did you know i found out?
He replied immediately, which was scary.
Ethan: you liked it
Me: i liked what?
Ethan: my picture
Me: why did you do it?
Ethan: i lost my feelings for you, plus i'm the baddest guy in school, i can get any girl i want.
Me: your such an asshole
Ethan: your such a bitch
Me: leave me alone already geez
Ethan: alright, goodnight love
Ugh, i hated him so much right now
I replied to Justin because i already know my final answer
Me: he cheated on me
3 minutes later he answered
Justin: oh, i'm so sorry to hear that... do you want to talk about it
Me: yeah but tomorrow, i'm tired right now
Justin: okay goodnight ❤️
I went back upstairs and got ready for bed, so i just put on an oversized shirt and a bun.
I cried myself to sleep that night.
The next day i woke up to rocks being thrown at my window.
I got up and opened the window, it was Justin
"Good morning beautiful", he yelled.
"Shhhh, you'll wake up the neighbors", i said
"Oh my bad.. let me in", he said.
I nodded my head and went to the front door. I opened the door just to see Justin running up to me to hug me.
"Ethan is a jerk for cheating on a girl like you", he said.
I cried right there on his shoulder
"Come in", i said.
He walked in and my mom was in the kitchen.
"Goodmorning Mrs. Ramirez", he said
"Goodmorning, but it has been Ms. Ramirez ever since Jocelyn was 2", she said.
"Oh right, i forgot, sorry ma'am", he said.
"It's fine darling, would you like some breakfast?", She asked.
"Oh umm sure, thanks", he said
"Mom, were gonna go upstairs we'll be down any minute", i said.
We went upstairs and i took my clothes off.
"Oh c'mon, you've seen me with only my bra and underwear before so calm down", i said while taking my shirt off.
"Yeah but that was when we were like 6, now your 15", he said while covering his eyes.
"True but still, it's fine", i said.
I changed into a black crop top with a red skater skirt and black vans, i also straightened my hair.
"Wow, you look nice", Justin said.
He leaned in and our faces were just inches apart from each other.
"You're about to kiss me, aren't you", i said.
"Yup", he said
He kissed me, but this one was different from when i kissed Ethan. This one felt like it was real and i felt wanted. I just kissed my best friend
"So, i uh think we should go downstairs, my mom is probably waiting...", i said.
"Yeah, that's a good idea", he said.
We went downstairs and ate breakfast
"So, what are you two planning on doing today?", My mom said.
"Well, i was planning on taking Jocelyn to the movie theater", Justin said.
"Oh, that sounds nice, what movie are you guys watching?", My mom said.
"Maybe a scary movie, he said and winked at me
He knows i get scared at scary movies so i'll probably be hugging him the whole time. The man knows how to play his cards.

We walked to the movie theaters and bought our tickets, we also bought our snacks.
We walked into the dark theater and took our seats. We sat in the back row and the movie started.
The movie was pretty scary so i was hugging Justin the whole time.
In the middle of the movie he stared at me and he kissed me.

But i didn't feel anything, it felt different than other kisses i've had. I mean, he's an amazing person but he's not special. And i think i know why.
Because he was not Ethan Cutkosky.
