*Ethan's POV*

I walked down the hospital hallway feeling helpless.

I had no idea what was gonna happen next.

"Ethan, the car is parked over there" said my mom pointing to a gray car.

I walked to it and opened the door.

I got in along with my mom. She turned on the car and the music turned on.

Cuz baby now we got bad blood.

"Mom, please turn the music off." I said

"Ethan..." She sighed.

"What?"

"You can't be sad forever."
"Why not " i said
"Your gonna have to get over her"

"She was my everything.."

Words drifted out of my mouth.
I don't know what to do. I won't ever see her again.

"Ethan, i guess i should tell you now."

"Tell me what?" I said looking at her

"Well to cheer you up.... I signed your name up for an audition for a tv show called Shameless" she said cheesing at me

"Mom, no way! What's the show about?" I said excited, forgetting about what had just happened.

"Well, i signed you up for the role of Carl Gallagher, and he plays a bad boy that all the girls love & he handles drugs, & yeah, he's just a bad boy in general"

"That sounds nothing like me, but thanks, i really wanted to start acting!" I said happily.

*Jocelyn's POV*

I walked out the hospital into the car knowing i leave tomorrow.

"Jocelyn, i know it's hard but this is how it needs to be" said katie

I ignored her. I'm ignoring everyone and everything. I just wanna leave this world.

"Jocelyn... I'm speaking to
You"

I groaned. "What do you want?"

She stared at me in awe

"Can you just start the fucking car?"

She turned the car on and started driving.

We finally arrived and i went straight to my room. I jumped on my bed and stared at the ceiling.

Then i looked at my suitcase.

Why are they making me bring a suitcase anyways?

I looked back at the ceiling.

I started crying. I cried myself to sleep that night.

I woke up to somebody knocking at my door.

"Ughh" i said getting up

I opened the door and it was jake.

"Oh, it's you" i said

"Well." He said offended

"What do you want?" I said

"It's 10:30 and you leave in 1 hour"

"Okay bye" i said closing the door

Well, looks like i'll be leaving any minute now.

I took a quick shower and did my daily "routine". Then i changed into a Mickey mouse crew neck with light washed denim jeans and white converse.

Well might as well look nice today.

It was soon 11:30 and i heard a knock on my door

"Jocelyn, i'll be waiting for you in the car."

I sighed, took a look in the mirror and grabbed my suitcase. I walked down the stairs and stood there.

"Jocelyn, dad is waiting outside" said Mia.

"I know" i said tearing up

"Oh jocelyn..." She said walking to me and giving me a hug.

"Promise you'll be here when i come back?"

"Promise." She said crying

She backed up and wiped her tears.

"Bye guys, i'll see you in 2 years" i said waving to them.

"Bye!" They all said

I walked out the front door and opened it.

My dad was waiting for me.

"Okay, are you ready?" He said

"Yeah let's go" i said looking down

We got in the car and started driving.

After 1 hour, we arrived.

'Blue Whale Hospital'

Wow, i can't believe this is actually happening.

"Umm... Dad?" I said

"Yeah?" He said

"I'm not ready to go in there yet"

"Listen, i know you're at a young age but, sometimes the hardest things are for the best" he said

"Will you be here when it's over?"

"Definitely"

We got out and took my suitcase out the trunk.

I still don't understand why i need a suitcase.

We headed inside and checked in.

"Hi, i'm here to drop off Jocelyn Ramirez." He said

The lady walked around the desk, took my suitcase and led me to a room.

"Okay, you'll be staying here."

I looked around. It was a white room with a lavender bed and 2 drawers.

"You know, for a mental hospital, you sure have great.... security"

"Here's your schedule. You have 5 minutes to say goodbye and then you move on to lunch."

"Okay."

I turned to my dad and hugged him.

"Text me or call me whenever you can. Okay?" He said

"Okay." I said and let go of our hug.

"Be careful. I love you, bye." He said

He left and the lady came back in.

"Okay, we're gonna check your bag to make sure you don't have any weapons or anything that can harm someone"

"Okay. Where's the lunchroom?" I said

"Down the hall to your left" she said

I walked down the hall and realized that this is my life now.
