Too optimistic to be pessimistic

Chapter 15 "Meeting Cynthia Brooks"

After I finished eating my lunch I went out to go see this physic Mary suggested to me about. Her name is Cynthia Brooks. Mary believes that Cynthia can tell me what my wife wanted to tell me before she passed away. At first, I thought that it wasn't right and was kind of dumb, to be honest, but the more I thought about it the more it started to make sense to me. So in the end I decided what Ms. Brooks had to tell me.

By the time I found her place it was dark. It was practically in the middle of nowhere. The moon was full and it gave off bright blue light basically shining right on top of what looked like a mini version of a wagon house. It was a short one but on the tall side with four huge wooden wheels on it. There was a single lantern hanging by the door and one single window that glowed a light orange. The strange-looking place looked like it was decorated for Halloween. All around it were trees and circling around it was a stone fence. There are three different sized jack-o-lanterns beside it. First was the medium one, a huge one in the middle and a very small one at the end of them.

When you walk up to the door it was an old-fashioned ladder. There was the oddest-looking door knocker. I was hesitant at first when I came up to the doorbell. I thought to myself, 'Should I go through with this and see this physic Mary suggested?'

Right, when I was about to turn around and go back to my car and decided to come at a different time; the door opened on its own and I heard a voice saying, "Come in Justin Knight. I have been waiting for you."

Scared out of my life I decided to go in there and look for the strange voice that just talked to me. I walked inside.

When you first walked in, the first half was full of what looked like a bunch of spider webs and plastic spiders on them (or at least I hope they were plastic) on shelves that were full of books and small trinkets. The walls were painted blood red. Going down a little bit more you heard strange music meaning to scare you while you made your way down to her.

You had to pass a wall of beads hanging on a string that hung around the doorway. The room had a lot of decorations in it. There is a bookshelf with many books on them with the same spider webs as it and the plastic spiders.

The room was lit up by candles that sat on a round table. I saw two empty chairs and a big glowing glass ball in the middle of the two chairs on a table. I was startled when I saw a lady sitting at the small table with her hands around a crystal ball. She had curly black shoulder length hair. In the middle of her forehead was a small golden headband with a small red jewel in the middle of it. She had golden hanging star earrings in each ear. She was dressed in a red very long coat with a white sweetheart neckline undershirt underneath. She had a thick gold choker along with other gold necklaces going all down her neck with two huge ruby jewels that fall in the middle of her chest.
