It all started with a bet.

Lilly's POV

As my morning had just begun I decided to not let a Saturday go to waste and that I was going to find something to do.

Two bit had just dropped me off and I can't believe he kissed me. Well he kissed my hand. Big deal Lilly.

I put on my baby blue long skirt and a white blouse. A thing brown belt and some pearl earrings completed my look.

It was now 9:30 and I didn't know what I was going to do. I decided to wait until 10 o'clock until I went out so for the remaining thirty minutes I plopped myself onto my bed and read The Great Gatsby. My favorite book.

I looked up at my clock in my room and realized that I had forgotten about my plans but it wasn't that bad cause it was only 10:20. I went down to the hallway and put my shoes on.

If your wondering where my parents are I can tell you that their practically never home. Mom is more than dad but still not a lot. It suck, really. But I know that their jobs require them to be there a lot hut so do I. I mean I'm their child. Their only child at home.

Anyways, I walked out the house. My shoulder was holding my bag with my book, wallet and sunglasses in it. My plan for the day was to go shopping.

I usually shop with Cherry cause we have the same taste but I figured that I could meet some new friends or just go alone. That's when I saw a familiar boys walking my way. A boy with grease in his hair.

Pony boys POV

As I walked in to the mall I saw the girl who I couldn't get out of my mind. She was gorgeous.

I smiled and waved at her right before internally slapping myself in the face for being so awkward.

I walked up to her and we started talking

"Hi, what are you doing here" She said with the most beautiful smile on her face. I almost couldn't get the words "I'm just looking around" out of my mouth. She was just so breathtaking.

"We'll do you want to just look around with me?" She asked excitingly. How could I say no to that.

I nodded as we started to walk to the closest shop, Alberts bookstore. I thought that she would dislike this store but when I saw her face light up from seeing all of the books I immediately knew I was wrong.

Her dazzling eyes examined one shelf after the other and she let her fingers graze the books as she found one she liked. She took it out and looked at it. I peered over her shoulder to see what she had picked out.

Gone with the wind it said. That was one of my favorite books. She looked up at me and asked me what I thought. I answered directly with how much I liked the book. As I was answering I looked into her eyes and I swear I could see them glitter as she smiled, making my heart melt.

We continued to walk around the little shop for about five minutes until we decided to go to the next store, but not without buying the book.

She put the book down at the register and the cashier said "that'll be 2 dollars 39" Lilly reached down into her purse but I put my hand on hers, stopping her from paying as I did instead.

My heart started racing as I realized that she blushed at my hand being on hers so after I payed I took her hand in mine as we walked around the mall.

I've never been happier.

Lilly's POV

I cannot believe that pony boy is so sweet. All I could think about as we held hands was how his cold ring was pressing on my warm skin and how by just holding my hand he was sort of protecting me. I don't know what from but it just felt nice.

As I now sit at my coffee table I can't stop thinking about him. He had invited me to come to his house later and then catch a movie with him. I accepted but told him that I had to go home before to let my father know.

That was a lie. My father, of course wasn't home. I just needed a moment to get my head clear. Because it was filled with thoughts about him.

He said that he would pick me up at about 5 so that we could go to his house and stay there for about 15 minutes then go to the movie. Leaving me with about an hour to kill.

I picked up my new book but before u could even open it I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that pony bought it for me. He's so sweet.

I have wrote and fixed all of the chapters in the same day and therefore no ones read it but I hope that people will

I kind of feel like this story is kind of boring but I've been re writing the first two chapters that I wrote 2 yrs ago and I've written these two new chapters all in the span of two and a half hours. Which may seem like to much but I have like no idea what to write.
