The weekend had crept up on the heroes much faster than the Hawks' current top speed.

Friday had officially come to a close.

The agency lights had been turned off. Computers were shut down and phones were forwarded to voicemail. All hero suits lay neatly in their respective cases and offices, awaiting the scent of freshly brewed coffee and the golden shimmer of a Monday sunrise.

The weekend awaited the trio just outside the agency doors.

Invigorating scents of takoyaki, tako tamago, dango, and korokke all swam through the bustling city streets, flirting with Hawks' taste buds as they slipped through the cracks of the glass entrance doors. He held onto his stomach as it growled loudly.

"If she doesn't come out here within the next 3 minutes, I'm leaving." He barked.

Blue Jay stood with his arm resting on the reception counter. He raised an eyebrow at his angry friend. "Really? You're that famished?"

"A hard-working hero, such as myself, is always famished." Sarcasm spewed from each word. He picked at the stopper of his earring. "Come on, let's go."

Unfazed by his attitude, Blue Jay shook his head. "Your impatience amazes me. Especially because you dumped a tremendous amount of work on her desk."

"She's good at that stuff. I wouldn't give her anything she can't handle." He explained. "Besides, I told her to leave it behind for Monday."

"Akemi, wait until Monday?" Blue Jay dug his palm into his forehead, his eyes tightly shut while swaying his head. "We're going to be here all night."

Hawks lips thinned. He sunk lower and lower onto the tiled floor, his already prominent crow's feet growing darker by the second.

"What have I done?" He reprimanded himself. "Yakitori is going to close, and I'm going to have to eat instant noodles at home."

Blue Jay walked towards the navy blue loveseat in the waiting area. He pushed the decorative pillows aside and dropped into his seat while massaging his head in frustration. "Just how many incident reports did you give her?"

"I didn't give her incident reports," Hawks whispered, mainly to himself.

"Don't mumble. I can't understand you." Blue Jay's head fell back onto the backrest of the couch.

"It wasn't incident reports I gave her." He cleared his throat, his back pressing harder into the wall.

"What was it, then?"
