"Arabella."

"Taehyung."

A quick nod was exchanged between them, a sign of aknowledging the other's presence but nothing more. The cold shift in the atmosphere made Jimin shiver and he ushered Arabella to go further inside their hideout, a small apartment rented under a fake name.

He sighed when seeing them both exchange an annoyed glare, shaking his head. Well, at least they weren't on each other's necks. Yet.

Arabella took a seat on the armchair opposite of Taehyung who categorically ignored her and rather put all his focus on cleaning his magnum.

Crossing her legs, she sunk into the seat more and decided to ignore him as well. "And where's Yoongi? Did he dump you again?" Her question made both of them stifle a chuckle. She was referring to Yoongi occasionally disappearing for a month or more in irregular intervals, going to the mountains or sea to 'meditate' and 'perfect his swort art' - as he himself explained it. A true artist.

"No, he went to get some food," Taehyung replied monotonously, not taking his eyes off of his dear gun. And he earned a surprised raise of her brow. So he wasn't totally, ignoring her after all.

"Well, well, well," Jimin sang brightly, clapping his hands together and taking a seat beside her. "What's with the grim mood?" He tried lightening the persistingly tight atmosphere, but Arabella and Taehyung kept silent. Making him humph. "Fine, I know what will get you two to smile again," he said then He pulled out something from his jacket, placing it on the coffee table in front of them.

At this, both finally perked up and shifted their attention to the two objects.

It was the document they had obtained in Vienna along with the sapphire they got in Tokyo.

"What's this good for?" the dyed-blonde wondered out and pointed at Jimin as he started gliding the gem over the piece of paper.

With furrowed brows, Taehyung let let out a dry laugh before going back to cleaning his gun. "You don't know?"

Arabella arched a brow. "No, am I supposed to?"

"You did try getting that piece of paper as well after all.."

"Yeah, but it was just for a job. I didn't do it for myself."

Taehyung glanced at her with a hum, before focusing back on cleaning.

"Jimin, you think it's good to let her know?"

Of course Taehyung wouldn't keep himself from provoking her for too long. Even though both of Jimin's friends didn't like her - and vice versa - at least Yoongi still obtained some basic level of politeness, which she appreciated a lot hence why she preferred the swordsman over that childish gunman.

Huffing, she folded her arms in front of her chest. " don't even wanna know anyway. Why would I care?" she retorted.

"Nah, nah, guys. Please behave," Jimin urged them with a chuckle. He didn't plan to reveal to her just yet what this was about. First, he only wanted to observe her reaction when seeing those objects together. Clarifying she indeed didn't know the gem was making certain words disappear when reading the old document through it. An old trick, caused by the use of different kind of inks to hide secret messages.

However, a different question arose then and his fingers paused, looking at her inquiringly.

"Who were these guys who hired you back then?"

However, she could only offer him a shrug. "You know we don't ask questions in this business."

"True, but I also know you always do your background checks," he smirked and he could see her bite back a smug smile.
