Havana, Cuba.
The hidden coordinates on the stolen document, only visible when looking through the also stolen sapphire, led them to the capital of Cuba right at the sea. Giving them a good view of the mountains in the south the coordinates were actually located at.
It was warm and loud, the air stuffy as they strolled through the markets filled with all kinds of things from useless kick-knacks to colourful furniture to fresh vegetables and fruits, mingling with locals who filled the narrow streets.
"Oh, hey cutie."
Arabella turned around when hearing Jimin's voice, its flirty tone immediately catching her attention. And indeed, she caught him ogling at a local behind a stall. The young woman giggled and offered him to try a piece of her mangos, which he gladly accepted with a charming smile and a wink.Arabella only rolled her eyes behind her large sunglasses, turning away.Of course he couldn't pull himself together.
She sighed, walking towards a stall further down that was selling sunhats. Pushing her sunglasses up her head, she took a better look on them, her eyes eventually landing on a big straw hat. It reminded her of those famous actresses used to wear at the pool in the old times. She liked the touch of old hollywood feel to it and decided to try it on. Smiling at herself in the mirror as she regarded it from all sides.
"Suits you, love."
Her smile dropped, a frown instead settling onto her features and she placed the headpiece back.
"Oh, you done flirting around with strangers?" she asked monotonously as she brushed past him, continuing strolling through the market. She spotted Taehyung and Yoongi standing a couple of stalls away.
She'd noticed Taehyung seeming quite uneasy ever since they had stepped foot in the city, it wasn't hard to do so. He was moodier, not only with her but also with his friends. There was also his new habit of constantly looking around, like a paranoid man feeling under observation - or even the opposite, like he was the one looking for something. Or someone.
She wondered if he simply didn't handle the warmth or if there was more to it. Obviously she wouldn't directly ask him though. They surely weren't close enough for her to ask such personal questions. They didn't even particularly liked each other, they just endured the other's presence for the sake of it, hence why she also wasn't keen in finding out.
However, contrary to her, Jimin and Yoongi seemed to know exactly what was going on as they barely reacted to his withdrawn and grumpy behaviour. The only acknowledgment being a quick exchange of glances when it happened.
She was curious, to say the least, but knew they most likely wouldn't tell her either."Aw, Bella-baby, don't tell me you're jealous?" she heard Jimin snicker behind her, interrupting her train of thoughts. He almost bumped into a child while following her through the mass of people to try catching up on her. Much to his luck she was forced to halt to let an old lady with her groceries pass. Wiggling his brows with a smug look when reaching her and seeing Arabella's irritated expression. And she huffed.
"Don't be ridiculous. Why would I?"
"You know it's just for fun though," he laughed and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, giving it a squeaze, which she ignored by looking away. "Hey.." His voice much softer now as he gently grabbed her chin between his fingers, forcing her to face him. The corners of his lips tucked into a smile. "No one compares to you after all."
Arabella bit the inside of her cheek, preventing that smile she felt creeping up on her lips from showing. "Whatever," she mumbled and shoved his hand away. Ignoring his laugh as she walked up to the other two guys.
